We played on a beautiful October afternoon and the course was in excellent condition. Small greens require accurate shotmaking and a strong chipping game. The club restaurant was outstanding. Great food and service has non golfers coming in take advantage of the feel good cuisine.

So, played this course today, and yes it was a nice course but I've played prettier courses down in the smoky mountains for cheaper. $100 is pricey for a course in this shape. The greens were very slow ... 9 on the stimp. Also, it was very unfriendly to women. One of the par 5s was 505 yds. which is... More

Thank you for taking the time to write a review of Kebo Valley Golf Club. All of our greens (besides the 3rd which was moved on a recommendation of Donald Ross, and hole... More

Keno Valley Golf Club is a real treasure. Built on undulating hills, it has a variety of interesting holes that alternate between user friendly and quite difficult. It can be hard for those playing the forward tees if they do not hit the ball very far. The course is maintained in very good condition. If you are looking for a... More

Have driven past Kebo Valley over the last 40 years and finally played. We were lucky to be paired with member who was great with his tips on each hole. Initially built in 1896 without the sophisticated tools available to todays designers. The routing has some zig zags that could cofuse a first time Kebo player It was a fun... More

My husband and I played this course this morning and had a great time! The greens were phenomenal and the course itself was challenging but not overwhelming. Playing the holes where Cadillac Mountain rises as the back drop was just beautiful!! It's a long Par 5 and takes on average 4 hrs and 15 minutes to play. Greens fees were... More

We have been doing family reunions to Bar Harbor for the past 20 years and I must say this past visit (7-2-2015) the course played better than ever. The grounds crew has done a spectacular job making the course one of the best in the Northeast. My only gripe is that Maine has some strange alcohol laws that prohibit my... More

A great course, not particularly long but no one ever said that it has to be long to be challenging. A bit expensive, but it is worth it for some of the views set in Acadia National Park. If you have the time, take the time to play. How often can you play the 8th oldest course in the country.

What do you get when you combine Myopia Hunt Club with Royal Dornoch? You get Kebo Valley. Herbert Leeds and Donald Ross. Leeds the Myopia designer is largely credited with the design at Kebo but his work encompassed only 9 holes and many of those were later changed. Someone else was responsible for the the changes and the second nine.... More

Thank you for taking the time to review Kebo Valley Golf Club. We appreciate your kind words, and we are glad you had a great day. You are right to say a course does not have to be 7200 yards to be challenging. Kebo plays to a Par 70, and at just over 6000 yards so by today's standards Kebo... More

Finding this place at night time is a little difficult. I am glad I had a GPS. I went for someone's 35 anniversary party. Excellent food and nice homey atmosphere.
