I took the 25 minute flight in the biplane over Mount Desert Island. Phil was the pilot. Very helpful getting into and out of the airplane because it is a little tight for a big guy. Beautiful day, Phil pointed out all the popular spots plus a lot of things most people don't know about the area. Flew at 2000 feet at about 90 mph. Wind was not a factor. I took my GoPro camera and Phil was helpful in banking the plane to get some great views. Make sure you go at low tide as all the rocks and bars are visible from the air. The 25 minutes went by in a flash and ended with a smooth landing. It was great to fly in the biplane. Highly recommend you add this to your list of things to do while visiting Bar Harbor/Acadia National Park.

My dad and I walked up to Acadia Air Tours on a beautiful October day. We saw a youtube video of a couple that went on a bi-plane tour and decided we needed to do this as a part of our trip to Acadia. We both did the 25 minute tour, going around the northeast side of the island and back up Somme's Sound. What a fantastic ride! The pilot was knowledgeable and the views were oustanding. What a unique way to see Mount Desert Island and the coast. I highly recommend!

We took a ride in the glider and it was the most amazing experience ever! Our guide, Jeff, was a hoot and Holly was a doll. :) Good people sharing their stories and experience- they certainly know how to live this life! Thank you for the wonderful day, guys! - Lara and Paul

Four women from our camping/travel group Lemon Drop Divas took flight on our stop over from our cruise port in Bar Harbor. We were met at the office very conveniently on the pier and driven to the airport. Once in the air we were treated to the beauty of Acadia National Park.We felt safe and taken care of while we flew over islands, ponds and lighthouses. It was an unforgettable experience!
