Well worth the cost. Guide had an excellent knowledge of the area combined with a great sense of humor. We saw some beautiful shoreline, learned about the history of the area and the lobster industry and had some awesome viewings of wildlife including bald eagles.

We arrived just as the boat was about to depart so we did not have a choice of seats, but luckily that did not matter. Every seat was a great one! We saw eagles, seals and several different kinds of waterfowl. The captain turned the boat so everyone could get a look. Gabby, our naturist, was knowledgeable and humorous. Our... More

Loved it! The guide was very knowledgeable! Saw 4 bald eagles on egg rock and one of them swooped into the ocean to catch a fish! Must do !

The trip was great, not over crowded. The naturalist that narrated the cruise was very knowledgeable and made the tour more interesting. We were lucky to have some great Bald Eagle sitings as well as lots of seals and birds.

Had researched several cruise providers before arriving in Bar Harbor earlier this July, but we’re thoroughly convinced we went with the right one. This two-hour sightseeing and nature cruise was spectacular. We opted for the 1 pm sailing, to best fit in with the rest of our busy schedule. All the members of my extended family who sailed with us... More

Originally we had planned to do the Whale Watching cruise but after learning that it was $60 a person, we decided to go with the Nature Cruise for half the price (at sunset no less). We had a beautiful time on the boat! The crew was very knowledgable about the area and wildlife. It is BYOB by the way, the... More

Loved the smaller boat and more personalized attention as compared to the bigger nature cruises. You have to drive there as it is a long walk from town, but there is plenty of parking. We saw 3 bald eagles, harbor porpoises, black guillemots, and harbor seals among other birds.

Thank you for your kind review! We're so happy you enjoyed your time with us. We do definitely have a wonderful advantage of free, onsite parking - especially because we are about a mile from the heart of downtown. Diane Smith More

We took the two hour nature cruise and had a very nice time. The dock was across the street from the Acadia Inn so was very convenient to our hotel. If staying at the Inn you can buy discounted tickets at the front desk. The tour took two hours. We toured along the coastline as far as Thunderhole. The boat... More

My husband and I brought 4 of our children (ages 18,15,13 and 7) on the 1.5 hour cruise. We saw 3 Bald Eagles and many Seals sunning themselves on an island. The crew did a great job with info about lobstering and the islands along the tour. Sitting toward the back of the boat made it slightly more challenging to... More
