We decided to go on our first ever kayak trip with this company because they offered 2 1/2 hour harbor tours. Most everyone else wants to take you for full or half days and we wanted to do other things so the timing was perfect. We met at 12:30, were on the water by 1:00 and we're back by 4:00.... More

We reserved a sunset kayak tour, something we were told was a must while you are in the park, and an activity that we had planned our day, around only to be called at 3:50pm (tour started at 4pm) to tell us they were canceling the tour bc they didnt have a guide for us. They had no back ups... More

I am so sorry this happened to you. The guide that was supposed to take you out became ill and could not lead the trip. He was feeling bad at the start of the day and ran up a fever that morning/afternoon. He wanted to soldier on and lead his sunset trip but I wouldn't let him because I felt... More

Great trip. Our guide, Jared, took great care of us and made everyone feel very comfortable even though we were kayaking for the first time. Not strenuous and wonderful scenery. Highly recommend this for company.

All members of the group arrived on time so we were already set for the perfect day. After a few minutes of instruction, we were out on the water. We were led by our guide, Jared, along many water routes. He allowed us time to rest and even took a stop on one of the islands for us to play... More

To be on the calm, clear water of Bar Harbor was a wonderful way to see and learn about this beautiful part of our country. The kayaking was not strenuous, with boats very maneuverable. The guide was chatty with lots of local knowledge and stories. It made a cool, overcast day in July really nice.

My wife and I had a great experience with Acadia Park Kayak and our guide, Rob. We met in the parking lot outside their office behind the Dog and Pony on Roddick Place. We were equipped with life vests, spray skirts, and dry bags then shuttled by van to Seal Cove. It was windy, cool (56 degrees), and cloud/misty but... More

Kayaking around the Bar Harbor islands was easily the best part of my weekend in Maine. After researching most of the kayak tours on the island, my friend and I settled on this one due to the great price ($45 a person for 3 hours) and the length, because many other providers have 4 hours tours as their minimum. We... More

We signed up for the special 4th of July tour where we would be able to see the fireworks but we got a lot more. We got a sunset tour with fireworks and a night tour all rolled into one! We were instructed to be at the store by 6pm and we did a little intro and getting to know... More

We just went July 5th, and it was everything I hoped for. It ended up being just our family, the five of us, on a sunset trip. Our guide, Rob, was professional, and made us feel comfortable, since only one of us had much experience. My 17 year old daughter took the single kayak, while the rest of us rode... More

Sea kayaking in Bar Harbor was a highlight of our trip. Unfortunately, our guide was disorganized and wasted our time by having us first meet at his office, just to drive us a few blocks away to wait on the ramp. The van has no parking spot here, so the guide will have to drive his van back, and return... More

We are glad that your tour with us was the highlight of your vacation even if you only gave two stars. As to your concerns... 1. Why don't we have all of our trips meet at the beach or have people just walk to the beach?: All of the local kayaking companies have their clients meet at their location or... More
