Such a nice path for a seaside stool. I just wish it was longer. The path is very well marked and hugs the coast with a great view of the Bar Harbour. Nice way to work off a delicious meal or just take in the awesome vistas around the harbor.

This was a short walk along the ocean that is just ok. Other reviewers mentioned that they were able to collect sea glass, but they must have ventured off the gravel pathway and took their chances getting down to the rocks on the beach to find it.

We so enjoyed traversing along the path and taking in the glorious beauty that was around us. It was so peaceful, the sound of the gulls and the breaking of the waves against the rocks were magical. Just thinking back to our visit makes me happy. I didn't want to leave as this is a beautiful place to walk and... More

As many reviews have stated this is one of the easiest walks/hikes but with great views Parking is also easy as you can park on the road and begin the walk at any point For many the destination is the beach area and look for parking there but not necessary

It's hard to call this a hike, because it was so flat that it was more of a stroll and in fact I saw a stroller on the "trail" at one point. This path is one everyone can do. It follows the rocky shore from Sand Beach to Otter Point (about 4 miles round trip), but you can walk as... More

The Ocean Trail is a must do but go early because it is pretty easy and very popular. The crowds begin to get pretty big after 10:00. Do the entire trail to see beautiful ocean vistas, rugged coast and Thunder Hole.
