This place is gorgeous. A great gift shop. Lines move quickly. And it's lovely. You MUST see the movie that they have there about Acadia. It's wonderful -- stirring.

Acadia is great, this review is about the Visitors Center. We have been to other National Parks, and the staff have been so helpful. Not so here, they could barely find time to help you. They handed you a map, and said enjoy!

Very busy place, best to go early and beat the worst of the crowds. They open at 8:00 am. Helpful staff and a large gift shop.

Visitor center was really busy with long lines . 4 or 5 Rangers were there to help with whatever kind of questions you had from hiking trails to shuttle bus routes or recommendations . Highly recommend this be your first stop while visiting Acadia.
