It can get busy in the summer, with a long line to ask the staff questions. Nice video to watch, and as with all National Parks, a hard working, patient staff. Finally got my senior citizen pass here. Will put it to good use, Need some reward for getting old.

We stopped at Hulls Cove Visitors Center with our young granddaughters so that they could get their Junior Park Ranger Passport Books and have those stamped with the logo. We also purchased some small items for souvenirs. This large complex is the meeting and starting point for those traveling all over Acadia National Park, especially while riding on the 'free'... This is a nice visitor's center but if you're coming in the summer months I would advice skipping the hassle and doing all of your research ahead of time and buying your park pass online. We battled for parking, shoved through hoards of people to grab a park map, and huddled in a corner unable to even move around enough... More

Out going in every way! That would describe the center and those that man the post with questions and materials to make your experience everything you want it to be!

The 15 minute video is worth seeing but like similar national park videos, it needs updating to generate more entertainment. The Center itself has wonderful and helpful rangers.

Friendly staff and great information on everything about the trip to the park. We were able to pick up our passes as well as to get all the information on the places we wanted to visit in the park

We received all of the information we needed. The park rangers were friendly and helpful. The gift shop was reasonably priced.

Helpful rangers and lots of printed information available here. Make sure you buy the $4.95 hiking map - it is a "must have". Good bathrooms.

This is a small visitor's center. You can get your entrance pass here. They also have a short video you can watch. There is a big parking lot and you can catch the park shuttle here. They also post which trails are closed, and you can get your park maps here.

The Visitor Center itself was mobbed on July 3, so we didn't make use of the services indoors, but we enjoyed a beautiful, easy walk along one of the carriage trails at the far end of the VC parking lot. The scenery is pretty and serene, and we enjoyed our afternoon very much.
