Conveniently located on Marine Drive in the village of Dededo, Guam's
most populated village, Micronesia Mall is truly a one stop attraction for shopping, food and fun. With 130 stores, restaurants, banks, entertainment and even a doctor's office, it is the largest most complete enclosed shopping mall in the Western Pacific. When it first opened in October of 1988 it was 300,000 square feet in size and was Guam's largest shopping center. Ten years later the mall increased in size to over 700,000 square feet and is many times larger than any other mall, center or outlet on the island. Micronesia Mall features Guam's largest food court with seating for 750, 19 eateries and video entertainment. Adjacent to the Fiesta Food
Court is the only amusement park in Guam. For the big kids there is a
roller coaster, pirate ship and bumper cars and for the little tikes there is the traditional merry-go-round, crazy cans, lady bug and jungle safari rides. The mall's anchor tenants are Guam's only Macy's, Payless Supermarket and a 12 screen all stadium seating movie
theatre. Other attractions include a 25 foot tall audio-kenitic sculpture in center court that is a blast to watch, a huge video arcade called Fun Fair, the areas largest internet cafe, one of KB toys best stores in the world and live entertainment every weekend in the 10,000 square foot center court. For the convenience of shoppers they have kiddie strollers for rent, baby changing stations in the restrooms, wheelchairs and information booths with helpful attendants. For a hot breakfast, quick lunch or a satisfying dinner go to Denny's Restaurant in the mall anytime 24 hours a day. If you need to exchange foreign currency or send money abroad visit Oceanic Bank, Philippine National Bank and the many ATM machines. Parking is abundant and free in two multi-level garages with a total of seven levels. Micronesia Mall is open 7 days a week, 363 days a year only being closed on Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day. The mall opens daily at 10am and closes at 9pm Monday through Saturday and 6pm Sundays. During December they have extended shopping hours. Advertised as an "American style shopping mall", it is one of Guam's
most popular destinations for residents, military stationed on Guam and for the 1.3 million tourists that visit the tropical island every
year. Shopping buses from Guam's hotels provide regular, cheap transportation to the mall every day until the mall's closing time. Taxis also provide excellent service. For a special treat be sure to visit the mall in the evening starting the day after Thanksgiving through January 2nd because they feature an amazing computerized 35 foot tall Christmas Tree show called the Holiday Lights Experience. You don't want to miss it!

This mall might be small compared to the shopping behemoths here in Manila, but one they have that we don't is Macy's. If you want to shop, better check Macy's first because sometimes, it's cheaper to shop there than at Ross. If you find something you really love, please don't but it just yet. Talk to a staff, ask if there will be a sale coming up soon. You might save $4 on that $16 jacket. That's exactly the opposite of what happened to me. I found this really light jacket for $16 and I thought it was a steal. I went back the next day, and lo and behold, it was Macy's one-day sale. Good thing this nice woman adjusted my receipt (I only had the receipt) and saved me more money. If you're a non-resident, please tell the cashier before paying, because you're entitled to a 10% discount. Hope this helps.

Guam has three major shopping malls: the Micronesia Mall in Dededo, the GPO Outlet Shopping Center in Tamuning, and the Agana Shopping Center. Micronesia Mall and Agana Shopping Center are owned by the Calvo family; they are both known for having lots of island-focused community and cultural events in their common areas. The Christmas-time light show, decorations, and entertainment at Micronesia Mall are definitely worth seeing. Both Micronesia Mall and Agana Shopping Center have 24-hour Payless Supermarkets; the Micronesia Mall location has a much wider variety of international groceries than the Agana location. All three malls have multiplex movie theaters; at the Micronesia Mall location, there are more choices including usually a Filipino feature film. Micronesia Mall has a unique small indoor amusement park with rides appropriate for children up to 7 years old and a decent food court. Finally, Micronesia Mall is anchored by Guam's only Macy's but most other stores are duplicated at or near GPO. In summary, Micronesia Mall is not a bad choice for a rainy day, particularly in late November and December but probably not a highlight of a visit to Guam.

after checking out from our hotel and waiting for our flight 5 hours away, we decided to go the the Mall of Micronesia. It was a good decision, the mall had good parking, well laid out mall, good selection of shops. Food court was great and upstairs a Fun Center for the kids. We have 3 kids and they would not want to come out to have lunch, they had a ball. For smaller kids there is a supervised activity center and you can book to have them play from 30min to 2hours.

After browsing through these stores on two separate days it all looked like the same type of merchandise to me -- poorly-made, plastic, flashy, trashy, overpriced, etc. The gift stores in this mall were selling identical products and after awhile all of the stores started to blend together. The only stores with any true quality merchandise is Macy's and the bookstore.

The mall is the only mall where you can find "everything". Unfortunately it's the only mall that really resembles a mall I. Guam and when push comes to shove this is where you go to look for something.
It has a Macy that caters to the Asian visitors. Small sizes and not as wide selection as you'd find on the mainland (us). It's got a decent selection of evening wear for the balls that happen here often (there's so many balls and galas in Guam there's always an opportunity to get dressed up.
Macy's is great with their return policies and when my Calvin Klein suit tore twice they were amazing g about ordering me another and then when it tore for the 2nd time they gave it to me for the discount price.
There's a small Ross (your better bet for Ross is at GPO) but you can always find a top or something for your house.
Unfortunately the whole mall appeals to the tourists and that doesn't help us that live there! (Asian sizes and style preference etc). Their food court has a good selection but with the stories I hear of bugs in food and running g around I tend to stay clear of it.
In all honesty the only reason I'd go there is for Macy's (who just recently added a Brookstone section on their bottom floor. My husband is excited about that

I came here just for Macy's but while walking around the mall, ive noticed some other cool independent stores that sold souvenirs and original local products. Nice quiet mall. Cinnabon is a must!

We arrived at Guam, Mariana Islands as part of our 43 day Maasdam cruise circling Japan to Sydney, Australia. Berthed at this 220 square mile islands Container Port(adjacent to the Navy Port), we took one of the 8 provided port shuttle buses 11 miles NE to the Micronesia Mall.
Its 60+ stores are located along 4 wings that focus on a large center court with information on the lower level and an extensive food court above. We used the Philippine National Bank, Payless Supermarket, Ross, Macys, and the convenient Coffee Beanery on the 2nd floor with its dedicated WiFi. Many clean restrooms are available on both levels.
This is our second visit to this wartime island having last visited in 2015 when we took a complete tour to include their 17th C Cathedral Basilica, Agana Bay circled with upscale hotels catering to the Chinese/Japanese tourists, and the War in the Pacific National Park Museum.
This large mall made for a productive 2nd visit to Guam.

Came here to kill some time, eat some food and go to Ross. Nothing spectral just like GPO, it’s a mall nothing more nothing less. Came here for what we needed walked around to show the newcomers what is all here are and left. Lots of tourists here since it’s on the red bus tour list of stops, great place to interact with people from all walks of life and different countries. Happy shopping

Compared with the Agana Shopping Mall, the Micronesia Mall is definitely better. It has Macy's Department Store as a tenant. But, then, if you visit this mall, you will mostly likely head off to Ross, which I think is more organized than the one located at the Guam Premium Outlets (perhaps because there are more tourists at GPO).
There are a number of other stores in the mall, as well as a relatively big food court located at the second floor. It also has an amusement park and movie houses.
I was looking for a Bose speaker and there is a store which carries Bose products. My daughter took the chance to eat at Denny's again. But what attracts my daughter to this mall is that unique mechanical display/attraction called MIMO located in the mall activity center.
But, then again, when compared to malls found in the Philippines, the Micronesia Mall looks like a mall that one can find in suburban Philippines.
