Mark is a gentleman, is car is pristine, the service he offers is second to none and his knowledge of the island is above and beyond.
Without Mark we would not have seen the true beauty of the island.
We did the 9 hour north circle tour and yes there are cheaper alternatives but don’t waste your money pay that bit more and get the true Aloha Spirit at your own pace.

We were not sure what sites to visit, we asked Mark to choose for us. He did not disappoint. We got to see so many sites, including Dole plantation, Turtle Beach, North Shore. We stopped off at multiple places and learned a lot of things. Had lunch at a popular Shrimp Truck, which was delicious. It was a great day out.

The pickup in front of our hotel was in time as schedule. Our family of 4 perfectly accommodate in the big, clean, shining red Chrysler convertible sedan. Our driver- tour guide Mark is a perfect gentleman, knowledgeable and with a fine sense of humor. We discussed the route and stops according to our booked time and own interest. We visited a lot of interesting and beautiful places. This is a perfect way to visit most of the island in a private and worrying free way. Made us feel VIP. I highly recommend this tour. An excellent value for money.

Mark is Retired Navy, an Author, and was also a Missionary in Papua New Guinea. Mark new an impressive amount of factoids regarding all the site we visited and saw along the way of our tour. Mark gave space where space was needed, and intuitively new when it was not. Initially, my 35 year old son did not want to take this tour believing that it would be dull riding in a car for six hours. He said he was pleasantly surprised to the contrary. He and his girlfriend of 30 years thoroughly enjoyed the whole trip with Mark as our guide as much as I did. We plan on booking a future tour with Mark when we return to Hawaii (next year).

We booked Mark for the first full day of our honeymoon in Hawaii and it was absolutely one of the best decisions we made for this trip. I wanted to get our bearings on the island since this was my first time to Oahu. Mark not only showed us the must sees of the island but also some of the coolest places no big tour buses could ever take you to (loved the Spitting Caves) simply because they wouldn't fit down some of the smaller streets on the island.
Some of the highlights of our day include:
1) Getting a mini food tour of the island (malasadas at Leonard's, the shave ice shop Obama goes to, garlic shrimp trucks on the North Shore and dole whip at the Dole Plantation just to name a few).
2) Learning about the rich history and culture of the island and the locals. I have so much respect for the land and the culture.
3) Swimming with turtles (I can't swim so Mark brought a boogie board for me so I could enjoy the experience without feeling like I'll drown...even in 2 feet deep water).
4) Mark took our picture with our camera and with his. He sent us everything within the same week which was really nice. He even helped some other couples take pictures too. Honestly, he's so nice.
Some people may think, "Hmmmm, what's so different about a private tour vs. a big bus tour? We see the same thing." Let me tell you, the experience is totally different. You actually get to know someone on a personal level and that leads to a lot of great conversation. Mark learned that we both shared a love of cars and real estate and we chatted for hours about both and he even took us on a mini tour of cool real estate on the island.
Private tours also allow you to see all of the things we wanted to see, in the time we wanted to see them in. If we didn't want to spend a long time somewhere, we just packed up and headed to the next spot. If we wanted to take in a place for a little longer, Mark let us stay until we were ready for the next stop. We never felt like herded cattle and we loved the fact that we could do what we wanted to do on our own timeline. It really gives you so much more freedom to see everything you want to see.
Mark, if you see this, we thank you so much for the great time you showed us! We went back to a bunch of places you showed us and the history and culture lesson really helped shape the rest of our trip. We kept saying, "Oh remember when Mark told us about this?" or "Oh where was that beach Mark took us to?" Our trip was so much more richer because of our day with you...to everyone here, do not hesitate to have Mark show you the beautiful sights of Oahu!

What an amazing tour ! Mark drove us to some of the most memorizing outlooks on Oahu. The car is beautiful. Highly recommended !

I have very unique special needs since I have several physical limitations. I had my colon removed so need to constantly go to the bathroom. I also have herniated discs in my neck and back and arthritis in both knees so I cannot stand for an extended period of time and can't walk too far or too fast. I shared these concerns with Mark and told him that I had been on the all island tour several times and cannot walk to see some of the sites they sttp at in the allotted time so he adjusted the tour to places that they may not cover with the general tours and allowed multiple rest stops and catered the trip to go to several shaved ice places and shrimp truck and the north shore. He also allowed me all the time I needed to enjoy each location for as long as I needed. Mark also has knowledge of several "secret" locations and a lot of interesting stories and history that is not common knowledge. I was so happy with my tour and would recommend Mark to everyone. It is totally worth the price of admission and I would definitely repeat the experience again.

Had 2 days of touring with marks convertable car and let me tell you was 2 most memorable days we had in hawaii!!! First day was actually spent with his daughter Mariko (hope I spelt this right) she is just a joy so easy going and fun to be with she took us to all the stops on the north shore was truly amazing and never once rushed us despite it being new years eve, on the second day we did the south tour with Mark, what an absolute gentleman, so knowledgeable and fun also, amazing sites and beaches both days, I couldn't recommend this enough to anyone honestly most comfortable and enjoyable day and not once did we feel rushed at any stage, will definitely be back to you guys next time we're over

Fantastic tour and well worth doing. Mark was great guy and very good host. He made up our day to suit us with mixture of site seeing / beaches. Stopped at places we would otherwise miss and not stop at so we’ll worth booking to see local areas / food etc. We stayed on an extra few hours and Mark was very accommodating

This is an absolutely fabulous way to see the island of Oahu. Mark, our driver, picked us up at our hotel in a shiny red convertible. We were able to say where we wanted to go or we could let Mark choose. We did a combination of both and so glad we did. We would never have chosen to eat from food trucks or try various local specialities. Nothing disappointed. We visited tourist hot spots including Pearl Harbour and the Dole plantation. Our driver acted as our personal guide sharing his knowledge and personal experiences, with a good dose of humour. He took us to a variety of places, some well known, some were a surprise. He also knew the best photo opportunities and happily, and patiently, took the photos.
Pricing was reasonable and the personal service was amazing.
I highly recommend this company for a great day exploring the Oahu outside Waikiki.

Hi, I will be coming to Hawaii between 27/9/17 and 11/10/17 with a friend. We will be staying at Turtle Beach Resort and need to check out on 9/10/17. Was looking at booking a tour with a pickup from Turtle Beach Resort and then drop off in Honolulu at our hotel (at this stage not confirmed yet, but either Hilton Hawaiian Village OR Ala Moana Hotel. Would that be possible to pickup in one location, customised tour of island, then drop off at another location

It varies a little depending on your plans but I think it was about $USD60 an hour, with a minimum of 4 hours. That covers the car/petrol/Mark/etc ... it is not a per person rate (so the more of you there are the cheaper it works out!). Well worth it!
