What a great experience! The food was great and the authentic experience and dancing was great. The back drop with the mountains at your back and the ocean in front of you while being entertained by the Polynesian dancers and music was unbelievable.

We had a great experience at the Chief's Luau!! Entertaining evening. Staff was very friendly, organized, food was good, great location. Cannot say anything negative about the Luau. No regrets on our choice. Highlight of our trip.

This was a great setting. The moon in the background was beautiful for this great show of comedy, fire and music. It was organized and well thought out. I would recommend this to everyone! Be ware it is loud😉

I've done a couple of Luau's during my visits to Hawaii and this one was great. The host was very entertaining with some humour for everyone but super friendly. The food was good too. The set up was overall really good.

On the night we went (sun 8th), there were about 350 people, meaning the atmosphere was pretty good, didn't feel overcrowded or uncomfortable. Total cost was about $450 for 2 adults and 2 kids - and drinks come bundled with the ADULT Tickets only. But at site they weren't too bad ($2 for soda, $7 beer cans etc) and it... More

Loved the positive attitude of each and every member of staff. Such a loving warm experience. I enjoyed hearing the chiefs stories. He made me laugh and cry (in a beautiful way). Loved the audience participation. I got to experience the variety of cultures from Fiji, Samoan, Maori etc... he gave a rounded view of island history and culture. The... More

Quality of food so so...this is our second visit to the chief luau. if we were to return to Hawaii we would be looking to change it up and check out a different luau and pay... More

Like others have mentioned, the food is nothing great, at all. Very 'mainland' and not Hawaiian other than the pork (which was alright, but I've made just as good at home with a slow cooker). The desert is literally a pan cake. Salad is lettuce, and pick your own baby carrots and grape tomatoes onto it. Mai Tais are ridiculously... More

I've been to the luau at the Polynesian Culture Centre and although it was fabulous, this luau felt like I was with ohana (family). The food was ok - nothing special - but tasty none-the-less. But, it was the chief's connection with the audience and his goal to create a true "family get together" made it extra special. He honored... More
