This place is super chill and always has been. Bummer that the ranger cabin burned down recently. Anyway, if you want to go,to a place that is calm go here. A long beach with almost nobody there

Best Beach On The Island is what I was told. We did not go to other beaches to compare but this beach is awesome. Large soft sand beach with beautiful blue water. The surf can get rough. It was crowded but it was a Friday afternoon. My only complaint is the changing area in the mens bathroom is one big... More

We stopped today on a whim with our kids. It was a beautiful beach. The sand was soft. There were very few people around..the kids loved jumping in the waves. It was a great way to get out of Waikiki for a day.

This is the best place I went to in Hawaii, over here you can body board, you can do it with big waves, not so big that they are surfing waves, not to small that they are swimming waves.

Bellows AFB Beach is breathtaking. We went there because there are decent waves for boogie boarding. The stretch of beach is for military families only, so it is not crowded at all. Changing room/bathrooms were typical for beach parks. It was windy and misted rain a bit, so my sunbathing daughters didn't like that, but my husband and 13 year... More

Beautiful stretch of beach, closed weekdays open on weekends. Has shower and bathroom facilities. Military exercises close beach during weekdays. A little confusing as entry to this part of the beach seems public and if you are able to drive onto the actual Bellow Air Force Station as I did, the beach is open everyday but perhaps not to the... The views and the privacy make this one of my all time favorite beaches! If it's not the weekend, you can go to one of the close beaches and have about the same experience!

Beautiful beach, warm blue water, white soft sand, lifeguards and bathrooms. You can only go there on the weekends,it is a military base and only open the beach only 2 days. Enjoy!! Go in the mornings for a ful sun,it gets shady in the afternoon.

We visited this beach after a crowded experience at Hanauma Bay. The day was generally cold and rainy; however, we had a bit of a break in the clouds when we got to Bellows Field Beach and the kids had a blast. There weren't any major crowds that day (a Sunday) save for some locals having cook-outs further down the... More
