this is about 5 miles of unbroken sand beach, shallow about 100 feet out, great fun but look on the shore for Portuguese ManOWar stinging jellyfish, blue, bubble looking creatures about 1" long with long tentacles, very painful.

Most people drive by this beach park on their drive around the east side of the island, but it is worth a stop. The sand is clean, the water pristine, and the views are spectacular. The beach is easy to walk and the views will sustain you. The beach has a staffed lifeguard tower/station and restroom facilities. The toilet facilities... More

There are great shallow areas here to snorkel, even when the winds and surf are high. Close to Sea Life Park

This 3 mile long beach was one of many absolutely beautiful beaches along the windward coast of Oahu. The water was as turquiose as anywhere I have ever been including the Caribbean and Cozumel/Cancun area. It was also relatively secluded except for some of the homeless that seem to live in and around the park - a bit unsettling but... More

Passed by this lovely deserted beach. Almost nobody there. Plenty of room to ourselves to frolic in the water and soak up the sun. Decent restaurant (Ono) nearby. Maybe it gets crowded some days. Worth a drive by as you head up the North Shore.

This is my favorite beach on the island. The water is soooooo turquoise and beautiful. The beach is not crowded and seems that it is mostly locals that gravitate to this beach. I absolutely loved it!

This is a nice beach, but not one of the best in the world, or in Hawaii, as some reviewers on here have said. It's relatively short (not a lot of space between water/land), has no amenities, and it's a bit dirty. Also, unless the weather's perfect it'll probably be a bit choppy. There are many nicer beaches on Hawaii's... More

I have never seen a beach so pretty in my life. It was breathtakingly beautiful. I will remember it forever, and I can't wait to return.

Wow. We stopped here very briefly as part of a North Shore Tour and I wasn't prepared for how gorgeous and long this beach would be. I could have stayed here all day. Looking to the North, the beach was completely deserted. To the South, there were just a handful of people for a weekday morning. I guess there is... More

This is a large, long beach and park area. There are picnic areas, restrooms and on the northern section are ball fields. Not only beautiful views of the beach and ocean, but turn around and take in the majesty of the Koʻolau range. This beach was not very crowded on a Saturday. There are lifeguard stations, do not know if... More
