Great beach setting for a wedding. I would recommend this location to anyone. Several homeless around, however they are all over the island. No one bothered us.

I always liked it much more than Lanikai or Kailua beach! Those are too crowed, Waimanalo probably has the better weather in winter too.

The beach is very sandy and has beautiful blue and turquoise colored water. It is sandy a long ways out and not too deep. The views are amazing and the waves are manageable here. There are bathrooms but they don’t have toilet paper or soap....More

We spend Christmas day at Waimanalo beach and it was an amazing day. The beach was quiet, and clean with bathroom facilities easily accessible and life guards on duty.

Our private tour guide brought us to this area and told us some detailed info about Waimanalo Beach and this area. Waimanalo Beach is a four-mile stretch of sand 20 minutes past Makapuu Lighthouse on the Windward Coast. This beach park has ample parking and...More

Waimanalo is probably one the best beaches in Hawaii in regards to actually getting in the water. The waves are calm, and the shoreline is lovely. Theres also a bonus of it not being over crowded with tourist like Waikiki beach. Give it a stop...More

The Waimanalo Beach is the exact opposite of Waikiki. There are no fancy shops or hotels, only homeless people camped on the edges of the park. It is so uncrowded you can almost consider it your private beach. I found it to be more picturesque...More

One of the best beaches on Oahu. Not crowded , however there were no water sports. It's December so maybe that's why but I didn't care the tide was strong but beautiful waters to swim in and take pictures around. Must go!

Heard that this was a “secret” beach, off the beaten path so we drove by car to check it out. The surroundings around the park were sketchy; abandoned and homes in ill repair along the road as well as a “tent village” near the entrance....More
