Maze great; Train ... meh

Kids LOVED the maze. They spent a bit of time going in and out, collecting rubbings, etc. Pineapple float is the bomb. The train would be okay but we couldn't hear a thing from... read more

I took my family and friends here. Their pineapple maze is HUGE! My kids loved it! They give you a map and you have to find special locations in the maze, which kept my kids engaged in the fun! After about 40 mins, we found all of the special spots. Afterwards we took their 22-min train ride around the property.... More

Kids LOVED the maze. They spent a bit of time going in and out, collecting rubbings, etc. Pineapple float is the bomb. The train would be okay but we couldn't hear a thing from the speakers as some rather loud foreigners were talking the whole time ... maybe they couldn't understand English so they figured why let others hear the... If you have it on your bucket list to conquer the world's largest maze, then do go. Otherwise save your time to enjoy something else instead. The ice cream was just so so and over priced. I paid more for some slices of fresh pineapple here than I ever paid for a whole pineapple back in San Francisco.

This was a vet interesting place. I wish it was not pouring rain so we could have gone on train ride but we still had a great time. I opened an oyster and got a pearl! I got a necklace for it to go into. Alittle pricey but gorgeous necklace and one of akind. If you visit, make sure you... More

I had no idea how amazing this place was until we took the tour. I wish we had gotten to spend a little more time at this stop but if you cannot do anything else you must send some pinnacles back home and dole whip is a must!!!!

we rode the train walked the garden and had lunch .... all within 1.5 hrs. It is ok for train ride and lunch but I would not go out of my way to visit as there is not much to see or do beside spend money in the gift shop. My 2 yr old enjoyed the ice cream and playing... More

Yummy pineapple soft serve ice cream. Otherwise a tourist trap. But found some good bargains. The Dole whip is worth it though. Sadly, they don't grow commercial pineapples in Hawaii anymore. Sugar either.

Went on a island tour which includes a 45 min stop at Dole Plantation. Basically a tourist trap. A huge souvenir shop selling all kinds of souvenirs mostly pineapple theme. There is also cafe selling food, snacks, drinks, some with pineapple. They also offer maze and train ride which I did not bother to take. The place is pack with... More

What we expected to be a nice insight into the history of this plantation and brand (like the Kauai coffee company on Kauai) turned out to be something else.... As already mentioned by others here, it is a tourist trap and an ugly one at that. It is a shopping centre where it acually takes effort to see real pineappels.... More
