It was my 4th time in Hawaii and this time I took my mum. I hadn't been to a Luau on Oahu before and I liked the idea of a backyard style family night. We got just that, our bus ride was entertaining! Cousin Greg...More

Best place for an old time luau. Not a fancy hotel lawn don't expect that sort of place. Great food, best we have had at any luau.

I visited Germaine's Luau in 1988 when I was in my teens and loved it. I recently took my family back last month and I enjoyed it as much. It is traditional and has a real family feel. The prices are good and food was...More

This was a fun evening. Georgie encouraged us all on the bus to talk to everyone else on the bus. To ask names and where you were fun. She called us all family, cuz n’s (cousins). It set the tone for all to just enjoy...More

The blurb says "too good to miss Luau" but it's sooooo not good. A commercial venture rather than anything like a cultural experience. You travel through an industrial site to reach it and the atmosphere is zero. I've been to a fabulous Luau on Maui...More

Why they scheduled the 45-min bus trip during the afternoon rush hour, I don't know. The tour guide gave us a brief on what to expect at the luau, what's on the menu, etc. The show was okay, but it was dark and you can't...More

The show itself was pretty good. Food ok but not as flavorful as in past luau's. Too much of the show was too dark to enjoy and felt it needed better lighting to enjoy not only the dancers but the wonderful colors of the costumes....More

Show was better than expected but the food wasn't the best . Authentic Hawaiian food was served like teriyaki beef, poi, pork from a pig cooked underground. You get to witness the ceremony of raising the pig from the ground. The dancers we excellent, everyone...More

Don't base your stay on luau shuttle stops. Odds are, if the shuttle doesn't stop at your hotel you'll be within walking distance to a stop. Ask your hotel concierge, they will better serve your question.

We didn't have a problem seeing, the picnic tables as described above, are situated in such a way that most can see the show wherever they are seated. We purchased tickets from a vendor in Honolulu for $20/pp. including... More
