The luau seemed to be well organized. The food was plentiful, the dancers delightful. We could hardly understand a word the male co-host said! He spoke too fast, and most of the time you could not hear him over the music in the background, especially when he was explaining about the dances. We didn't get anything he said. Our guide,... Save your time and money and don't go here! If you like more crowd involvement than actual show, screaming aloha nearly 50 times back to the game show sounding host, horribly uncomfortable picnic tables for hours, or mediocre food, then maybe you'll enjoy it after your hour drive there and back. I'm 31 and very open minded but this was... More

We loved this luau...if you're going to do it, then do it up right! We upgraded to the PLUMERIA package and it was really worth it...we were front row center and treated like VIPs...my husband got pulled up onstage and put in a grass skirt and "won" the hula contest and won prizes...food was excellent and if you are upgraded,... Okay, here's the real story: the food was very good; the dancing was amazing; the young dancers: really effective ambassadors. So what's wrong? Wouldn't do this again, because the older emcees are hackneyed and over commercialized, seemingly caught in a time warp in the 1940's with their style and substance. Enough of the cheerleading, the "I can't hear you" one... More

From the bus ride, to the food, to the show...it was great! Kii, our tour guide, was so informative and fun. The Polynesian fire act was awesome. If you are on Oahu, see the show.

I learned about Germaine's around the time I was planning my family's holiday from a Gabriel Iglesias video; what a great shout out! The coach guide was friendly, interesting and very fun making the trip up - through peak time traffic - far from boring. The other people attending were really into it and the event itself was a blast.... More

Germaine's was awesome! My sister and I were promptly picked up at the Ala Moana hotel, the ride to the luau was great! Our escort, Ron, was super sweet and very informative. We did the Plumeria Luau Package, and it was WELL worth it! It was so nice to have the food brought to us, the seating was perfect, the... More

We loved this Luau experience, in every aspect. The pickup was only a 5 minute walk from our hotel, we were in an air conditioned bus and our guide Greg was very entertaining and his interaction made the trip go fast! Our arrival greeting was warm, and our picture was taken on the beach and we received our shell leis.... More

The luau was good (not great). The food was good (not great). The drinks were fairly watered down. Overall it was fine, but you spend a long time driving. You deal with rush hour traffic on the way there, then have to drop folks off at the cruise terminal, and other hotels on the way back. If you want to... More

This was a little different than what we were expecting but is true to the description. It was a great big family luau with a good show. The food was also good. The view of the sunset off the beach was fantastic
