    Relaxing Day!
This was our first time going to the spa even though we have been to Aulani several times before. We started the day around 9 AM as our couple's massage was at 10 AM. We tried the heated lounge chairs off the woman's & men's locker rooms. They were amazing! We then sat in the quiet room and enjoyed flavored water and snacks. Our massages we fabulous! We then found loungers outside and enjoyed the hot tub, cold tub and multiple showers. We didn't use the dipping pools. We watched movies on our phone/iPad with headphones. We ordered lunch which was delivered to us. They brought us teas to enjoy. It was truly a day to decompress, talk and spend time together. I would highly recommend this experience. But sure to get there early and plan to stay late to enjoy the amenities of the spa. I met several people who didn't and were disappointed that they were not aware of them. Locker rooms are nice. Ladies - hairdryers, toner, hair styling stuff, shampoo, conditioner & soap etc. Razor's available upon request Men's - dryer for bathing suit, razors, shampoo, conditioner & soap etc

Worth the trip to Hawaii. The Ultimate in Self Care.
Best Spa Experience ever. Best Massage ever. The Laniwai Spa experience begins with a reminder call the day before and an invitation to come an hour early. Do This! And bring a bathing suit and a set of dry clean clothes to change into after your Spa experience. The Spa is in the Disney Hotel in Ko Olina. We stayed at the Beach Resort condos .3 miles away so I enjoyed a leisurely walk to my appt. I arrived and was given a tour of their hydration experience which included me selecting a message stone with my eyes closed that I “gave back to the earth” later in my tour. There is so much to tell about this experience that moved my soul and healed my spirit which was still bruised from the loss of a treasured loved one two weeks ago. The one hour that I spent preparing my body and my senses for my 80 minute massage was as restorative and exhilarating as the exceptional head to toe massage itself. Do try the whirlpool and cold dunk therapy pools, my tired sciatic knees were immediately improved with this technique. The various shower head outdoor showers were also a revelation, especially the one with the pulsating massage force water pressure. There is a relaxation room where you wait for your massage that has recumbent massage chairs. There is a “drying room, where you go to get ready for your massage has everything you need to reset before and after your treatment including dryers, hair gel, shampoo and conditioner as well as SPF 30 sunscreen! Pineapple water, banana muffins, anxiety tea. It’s really almost all too much. Do not pass up the eucalyptus infused ice cold wash cloths. My face and sinuses loved it! My massage was pure perfection. Head, hands, feet, face, earlobes, lymph nodes, combined with and slight and comfortable stretching mixed with medium pressure massage that hit all of my tense points. It was all I could do not to cry from the attention and the relief that this level of indulgent and professional excellence elicited. The massage table raises your head, your feet, and your knees as needed. And last but certainly not least is a small gift when you check out that literally matched the message on the stone that I selected during my tour. I wanted to come back every day! Thank you all for your service. Disney does it best.

Great Place To Relax And Enjoy Some Pampering
This was our 3rd visit to Aulani and the Laniwai Spa and it was really great. You can spend as much time as you like here enjoying the services/treatments along with the relaxation rooms, steam room, and water features area. The massage therapists are well-trained and thoughtful. We loved the lomi lomi signature massage. A bit on the expensive side, but you only live once.

    Nail Appointment? Ask for Sally!
My two friends and I all had wonderful experiences at the salon with Sally, Laniwai’s incredible nail artist! Her attention to detail is unmatched and she took the time to really make us all feel welcome — a true representation of the kind, caring people of Hawaii. She also gave us loads of suggestions for places to visit while we were in town, which came in handy during our excursions over the next few days. This was the fires time I’ve ever gotten my nails done at a hotel and I can tell you that it was DEFINITEY worth the splurge. Thank you, Sally!

    AMAZING!
Wow, wow, and WOW! What an amazing experience! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by happy, friendly staff. We got there an hour before and got to enjoy all the amenities (Sauna, jacuzzi, etc). My massage therapist, Sailor, was INCREDIBLE! My mom got a massage with a young man (I can’t remember his name). My mom speaks only Spanish and thankfully he was bilingual and talked Spanish to my mom, which made the experience a thousand times better. I travel to Hawaii often and will definitely make it a tradition to visit the spa on all future visits.

Best part of my Hawaiian vacation
Krishna greeted me upon arrival with a smile & exceptional service. She stated she worked at the Aulani front desk for 9 years and came over to the spa to try something new. She's great! I was scheduled for a Deep Tissue massage with Derek on Saturday and it was so good I booked another service on Sunday. Both were the best massages I've ever had....Derek was EXCELLENT!!!!

This Will Get You in Vacation Mode Quickly
This should be your first stop at Aulani. I’m sad I didn’t schedule a service on my last visit but am glad I did this time. The hydrotherapy garden is amazing, as are the other amenities on top of top notch service. When booking, be sure to budget an extra hour before your first service to visit the garden and other amenities. I didn’t realize this and checked in at the start of my message, so I visited the garden after but still enjoyed it. The hot stone message is amazing. Next time I’m at Aulani I’m doing that and probably other services. I could spend the entire day here!

    Great gift!
I was fortunate to have been offered a spa day at this venue. The setting is beautiful and the place is spotless. Had a 50 minute massage which was perfect. Also took advantage of the different baths in the back garden. Finished with a spa pedicure. All staff was courteous and attentive to our needs. Many thanks to my dear cousin! Mahalo!!❤️

    Ohana means family
The Ohana massage was beyond our expectations, based on the description provided in the resort brochure and by the information given to us at the reception desk. We did a free tour of the facility first - try to do the tour in the morning if you can; it was gorgeous to see the garden all lit up in the evening, but it was difficult to really see all that is offered. The kids were allowed to tour the garden, even though it is reserved for adult guest services only. The Ohana massage is offered at 8 AM only, so there's only one family booking per day. When we arrived, each of us picked a stone to throw into the wishing pool and at the end of the visit we each got bath salts based on the word written on our stone. We went into a large room with 2 massage tables and an outdoor patio. We were left alone to change into robes and slippers in a private change room. We weren't sure what to wear, so we kept our bathing suits on under the robes. There was fresh fruit, mini muffins, and chocolate-covered berries, as well as a large pitcher of water. We divided into two groups; 2 of us started out on the patio with a lomi lomi leg and foot massage and the other 2 had a back and neck massage on the tables. We each had our own masseuse, who were all pleasant, and we were able to pick our own scent for the massage lotion. Each massage is 25 minutes. It was the first massage for the kids and, although they were hesitant at first, especially to remove their tops for the massage, they found it very relaxing and didn't want to leave. The masseuse was good at adjusting the pressure based on individual preference. After we had both treatments, we were left alone to finish the snack and to get changed. There was a large wash room with shower, including soap, shampoo, conditioner, and lots of towels. We were given a lomi lomi stick to take home. The adults were allowed to come back later or the next day to use the gardens (no kids allowed.) My husband and I each came back alone to use the steam room, sauna, bathing pools, therapeutic showers, reflexology pathway, and hot tub. It was very relaxing, but I think would have been more enjoyable if we had come back together instead of separately. You do need to wear a bathing suit in the garden, but there are robes, slippers, and towels provided. Since I had not visited the pulu bar after the family visit, I was allowed to select a body scrub before I left the garden. There are lockers provided on the way to the garden, as well as a large open area to change, and one private change room. There are showers, as well as a grooming station. The ladies' grooming station has a hair dryer, deodorant, sun screen, body lotion, mouth wash; the men's station also has disposable razors. There is a relaxation area on the way out with adjustable massage chairs, magazines, and more of the same snacks from earlier. We each spent about 45 minutes on our return to use the garden. The cost was definitely a splurge, but well worth it, and a great way to relax on our last day in Hawaii.

    Leaf Blower
How is this place #1? My husband and I went out to the hydrotherapy garden. It’s supposedly a time for relaxation and reflection, instead there was a man walking throughout the garden/s with a leaf blower blowing dust and leaves throughout... common sense? Do leaf blowing when guests are NOT sitting throughout the hydrotherapy garden/s. Also, employees who work in the front of the spa were just standing around with food chomping and talking on cell phones, texting.. this is NOT the behavior of a #1 Resort. Disney, Walt would be ashamed! Overrated!
