We left Waikiki about 1.5 hrs before the cruise, but traffic was terrible. Needles to say we were late. We called and they accommodated us! There was food and drinks. We were able to see lots of dolphins dancing in the water and a whale. They pulled us as close to the dolphins as possible, which gave us the most beautiful view of the sunset. This cruise was well worth the money and the crew were friendly and professional. I would recommend this 100%!

A fabulous ride on the whale tour. The crew really seeks out the whales and asks the passengers to look as well. GREAT TIME. Catamaran was very clean and not packed Friendly and informative staff. Saw several whales and dolphins. Nice cocktail and snack included!!

My wife and I have been Scuba diving for 25 years. Our divemaster, Mark Hoffman, was one of the best we have ever had! Mark was extremely detailed with his dive briefing, was super enthusiastic (wore a Santa hat in the water) and was super concerned about the safety of everyone in the group. He even called me the day before the dive to answer some COV related questions that I had. We went on a 2 tank dive with him on the West Coast of Oahu (departing out of Wai’anae) - our first dive was the Mahi, a Navy minesweeper which was a super pleasant dive. Also the skipper of the boat, Jesse, was hands down the best captain we have experienced. Extremely helpful with getting us in and out of the water and making sure the boat ride was smooth. The dives were great, the visibility was 100+, and it was all in a relaxed atmosphere. If you are diving in Oahu, definitely request a trip with Mark and Jesse!

The Crew( Jessie, Tyler, Quinn, and Rodney) were fantastic. They went out of their way to bring us food and drinks and take our trash from us. They worked hard to find whales and Dolphins and we were rewarded with both. They did a great job of guiding us around the reef snorkeling and accommodating snorkelers of all levels. Great experience.

While in Hawaii we booked the West Oahu, sailing catamaran. As advertised in Hawaii Nautical Brochure. Without being told at time of booking or before getting in their bus, we ended up on a Scuba diving boat full of tanks so you couldn't get to the side to view the whale. Had to remove our shoes before boarding (even with the coronavirus lurking over us). The snacks were chex mix and goldfish in bowls for everyone to put their hands in. This was the WORST excursion I have ever been on. I will be going back to Hawaii but will never book through these people again.

Dave, Ian and Quin made every effort to help us enjoy our snorkeling trip. From keeping us safe to showing us turtles and urchin, they provided us a wonderful afternoon. The icing on the cake was the dolphin pod that gave us a little show on the way back to shore!

Briefly saw 2 whales surface for about 60 and 15 seconds respectively so no coupon for free return trip. But the boat ride and north leeward shore were great.

I thank the crew for being great hosts who kept pouring drinks.

We had an amazing trip today on the "Spirit of Aloha". The three person crew went out of their way to talk with us and attended to see if we needed anything. We feel so blessed to relax and feel the ocean waves underneath us! Sometimes work gets in the way of being able to enjoy this awesome island we live on! When our Airbnb starts back up, we will be recommending Hawaii Nautical tours to all our guests!

Mahalo to the crew!

During our once in a lifetime trip to Ko’Olina we booked this tour in hopes of swimming with sea turtles- talk about crossing off an item on your bucket list. We made the reservation in early August with our trip planned for the last week of September-early October. We purchased three tickets to the AM Catamaran for a total price of $290.25.

A week before the Catamaran (and our trip), I received a call from Hawaiian Nautical staff stating that their boat was “under maintenance” and as such, they could do not the AM Cruise. Instead they asked if we would be okay with going on the 130 pm cruise. I explained we would not be okay with that as it would interfere with our plans for later that day- there was a reason we booked the 830A cruise. At this time, they offered to move us to the 1030 am cruise with a “free upgrade” because it included lunch; we agreed.

The morning of, we rented a car and made the 45 minute trek out to Waikiki for take off from the Hilton Hawaiian Village. Three minutes out, we encountered a parade blocking the street. We quickly improvised and tried to find a different route. We called Hawaiian Nautical to explain the situation and delay (“we may be five minutes late, please tell the captain”) and they said simply, “if you’re not there by 1030 they’ll leave without you.” UH okay. So we bust a move trying to get to the spot. While on our new route, someone from the Hilton Hawaiian Village called and asked if we were on our way; he was kind and patient and assured us they would wait DESPITE what Hawaiian Nautical said. Fifteen minutes later and we find ourself nearby only to ONCE AGAIN be foiled by the damn parade. We desperately asked the police manning the road if there was ANY WAY we could get to the Hawaiian Village to which they replied “no.”

We called Hawaiian Nautical again to explain the situation and they did not seem surprised or apologetic. To their defense they did offer to reschedule us another day but another car rental and 1.5 hour round trip ride was not something that would fit into our limited time on the island.

Though I am logical and understand they did not plan the parade, the fact that they did not give a heads up to their patrons seems negligent. On top of the disappointment that comes with not getting to swim with turtles, we are all upset that we wasted half a day and $50 more dollars trying to get somewhere we were never going to get.

P.S. do NOT use your phone while driving. After realizing that we would not make it through, while trying to alert the boat captain, some of the cops working the parade threatened us with a $400 ticket for talking on the phone while driving as it is “highly illegal.”
