We had the pleasure of doing two tours with Yolanda during our week in Oahu - the Circle Island Tour and half day Pearl Harbour.
Yolanda is so professional and prepared - she arrived exactly on time at our hotel, had answers to every one of our questions as well as brochures and books in her vehicle to help us learn even more. She had clear bags at the ready for us to use at Pearl Harbour, cold water bottles in her trunk and even souvenirs and a sweet treat for the family on our last day with her. She called ahead so our shrimp order at Fumi’s was ready by the time we arrived so we didn’t waste any of our day in line. She understood our personalities right away after our half Pearl Harbour day and tailored our Circle Island tour accordingly. We know we saw views and vistas at the end of hidden hikes we would not have found on our own. As first timers to Oahu (but not Hawai’i) she gave us the best perspective of this beautiful Island.
I would book with her again in a heartbeat to do more exploring! We are still enjoying all of our macadamia purchases from the macadamia farm… ask to stop there for sure!!

We've traveled on tours in the U.S. and many other countries and always enjoy having a "local" person show us around as part of our adventure and to really get the flavor of a place. With Personalized Hawaii Vacations, expert tour driver/guide Yolanda was a highlight of our Hawaii visit. She knows the most interesting things about Hawaiian culture and history, all the best places to see and go, great places to eat, and she took us to a lovely "secret" picturesque beach that didn't have tourists or crowds! Yolanda created a special itinerary just for us, catering to our interests and preferences. She kept all of us well entertained and informed, including our kids. We could just relax and have fun. Yolanda was very helpful and took us around Honolulu to see all of its attractions and learn about its history and culture. She was so friendly and as a local definitely knew everything about Honolulu and all the ins and outs of the area! She made our time there very enjoyable and we were more than comfortable spending time with her as we visited.

Yolanda was amazing for our day tour of Oahu. My wife and I just landed from a long flight and we only had one day in Oahu prior to traveling to Maui and Kauai. Yolanda guided us through a perfect day that was jam packed with great sites, both on and off the beaten path. She picked us up from our hotel and showed us the Island. This experience was amazing and we were able to see many more sites than we would have been able to do on our own, not to mention the fact that we got a deeper insight into the Island. We highly recommend Yolanda for a personalized tour of Oahu.

I had some family in town for a short visit. They wanted to see the whole island but I really hadn't had time to see the sights yet and didn't have a vehicle big enough for all of us. They found Yolanda's tours online and signed us up. I gotta say, BEST DAY YET! She was so sweet and funny and her van was so comfortable! She knew all the best turn offs for photos, the best local truck for shrimp, and could answer every question about the island and it's locals. The waves on the North Shore were a big hit and we watched an unforgettable sunset at, wait for it, Sunset Beach! Reminded me why we moved here and motivated me to get out more! So great to not have the stress of being the tour guide and actually enjoy having visitors. I would strongly recommend her to anyone wanting a real taste of ALOHA.

In March 2017, I spent two weeks on Oahu as a visiting professor invited by the University of Hawaii at Manoa. And I tell you that I felt so fortunate to have Yolanda as my tour guide. She tailored a day tour around the Island so that I could have a sense of the natural beauty and cultural richness of Hawaii. Yolanda was an incredible guide. She taught so much about Hawaiian history and culture. I truly enjoyed the places and scenery, which was carefully selected. In fact, Yolanda is passionate about making the experience perfect for tourists looking for personalized vacations and tours. Just to have an idea, we had a very special picknick on the top of Makapu'u Point Lighthouse Trail, we went to Turtle Bay to see the turtles, and we reached the Sunset Beach at the right time for the natural spectacle, which was a great way to end this unforgettable day tour. Yolanda is such a warm personality with a very rich multicultural experience. The atmosphere she creates is so special that it really felt like home. Indeed, Yolanda did a great job, a true sample of excellent tour guide. I strongly recommend Yolanda for personalized tours in Hawaii.

A visit to Pearl harbor and the USS Arizona would not be complete if you did not visit the USS Missouri located on Ford Island.
Ford island used to be completely off limits to civilians, but has now opened up to allow visits to the USS Missouri and the aircraft museum located by the historical air tower that still stands. The island is still a working base, so the rest is off limits unless you have military credentials.
Again I must visit to honor a place where world war 2 started iconic USS Arizona and the place where it ended on the deck of the USS Missouri.

A great few hours to get a bit of history, have a look around town and get Noelani’s experienced commentary and personalised service. Nice, comfortable van and an easy relaxing drive. If you only have a few hours book this tour.

Yolanda showed us the best spots around Oahu! She is a great tour guide with a ton of historical knowledge. Highly recommend a personalized tour so you can get off the beaten path and see some truly beautiful scenery without being crowded. From scenic viewpoints in the mountains to pristine beaches, we had them all to ourselves.
