It is not a difficult hike. The path is beautiful vegetation. The path is not difficult but with the tropical weather the path is muddy. It is a slick layer on your shoes which makes the path a little more difficult than it should be....More

Sweet spot: This trail starts as an old road, then it becomes narrower as it continues winding through tropical foilage that is magical. Bring your suit for a stream, small waterfall dip to cool off with the locals, then continue up the mountain to the...More

Hiked to this falls last October. Great scenery and nice waterfall at the end. Right at the falls is a little tricky to cross the washout. Well worth the hike.

I wanted to do some hiking, but away from all the crowds at diamond head, so I found this one. What a treasure!! The hiking is not horribly hard, but I would suggest something beyond flip flops. A lot of the hike is on stone...More

This was a 5.6km there-and-back trek which is technically "forbidden" but everyone does it anyways (there will be a fence that you can simply stroll around to access the hike). You'll gain about 250m on this hike with some parts that can be tricky particularly...More

Relaxing and beautiful place. A bit touristy but well worth a look. Wear good shoes that can get muddy. Bug spray advised although we didn't get bitten.

A good walk to a great waterfall. The path is wide and easy to follow. Parking can be a little hard to find, as the waterfall is popular. The walk gets steep in some areas. There are many cute photo opportunities. And the water is...More

I went with a group of friends on a hike to this waterfall. I would say it’s a 2-3 mile round trip from the fence with about 500 ft elevation change. The path is mostly along a BWS gravel/dirt road. At the entrance is a...More

Moderately strenuous but smooth trail. Like being in a tropical paradise. Finding the entrance requires good directions.

This is a lesser known waterfall but is one of my favorites! We went after a rainy day and the falls was huge! It was a great hike and one of my favorite falls on the island.

The path is not stroller friendly. Kids were on the path. The mud gets slippery as it is frequently raining (more like mist).

I’m not sure. I was alone and encountered a few groups of boisterous young people playing music loudly. This seems to be a favorite place for locals, but not generally very populated. I’d ask someone local.

It is on a residential street, and the road is fenced off. But we just went around the fence.
