While the views are nice there's no public restroom, no where to change, no rentals available and the parking is horrible since it's a residential area

Lanikai is like heaven on earth. The water is crystal clear, warm and it's not packed. Depending on when you go, it may even feel like it's your private beach. The view from the top for whose doing the hike is simply gorgeous, truly breathtaking! In some parts the water is SO clear that the boats seem to be floating. Mesmerising! I could easily spend the whole day here and it still wouldn't feel enough. It's definitely a great breach to take kids, families and for stand-up paddle and kayaking.

Never thought that we'd find a peaceful beach in Oahu! Burned myself from staying under the sun from 9am until 1pm but all worth it. There was only I guess a dozen people enjoying the beach. Gorgeous waters and fine white sand. The only downside to this area is the lack of parking spaces. Took us about 20 minutes to find a parking spot. You might want to try climbing the pillbox if you're up for it.

This beach is long a with clear waters and white sand. It is perfect for relaxing and sun tanning. However, you need to find street parking that makes it challenging. It is a place to visit and enjoy.

With the mountains behind you and the mokes in front of you out in the ocean, this beach is really a stunning place to be. It's pretty small (about 1/2 mile long), but has soft sand and calm waters. I was there during off-season, but we had no trouble parking on the nearby residential streets, and even though the beach is small, it was never too crowded to enjoy. Beautiful sunrise views, too.
