Lanikai Beach is often in the conversation of the top beaches in the world. It was my first time here and I admit it is very beautiful. They day we were there it wasn't very crowded. It is hard to find parking here as there...More

This is certainly a nice beach, but as so many others note - parking can be hard to find. however we have never had to park more than a block away. The beach itself is often quite crowded, but is beautiful. I think the nearby...More

There is pretty much NO parking. You're better off parking down the hill at Kailu Beach Park and walking up the hill ( a decent hill especially with kids and lots of stuff) to Lanikai. We were staying close by so just walked there. We...More

Nice small beach, believe or not it’s somewhat secluded beach tucked away in the sleepy town of Kailua. When you’re done tanning it’s a short walk to the pill box hike.....

Lanikai Beach is a destination all unto itself. It is not only described as most beautiful of all Oahu beaches, but Lanikai Beach ranks as one of the best beaches in the world. Surrounded by endless miles of calm tranquil blue waters.

Lanikai Beach is gorgeous. There’s also water sports activities between Kailua and Lanikai beach, which are right next to each other. Parking is tough but with a little bit of planning, you will be sure to enjoy the beach.

This is a beautiful area that is being loved to death. It can be crowded by local standards as well as the water, while clear, belies the fact that there are NO BATHROOM FACILITIES. Weekends are nuts and forget about a holiday weekend. The parking...More

We kayaked from here to Moku Nui instead of Kailua Beach because it was closer to get out to the island. Parking is only on one side of the street and is usually full. We had to unload the kayaks at one of the narrow...More

We visited Lanikai Beach over the MLK long weekend. The wealthy landowners make sure that the whole Lanikai area is signed no parking due to construction to protect their precious beach time. When we did go back later in the week it really was nothing...More

Yes. Parking for cars is difficult but there. Bikes can be locked against the poles at the end of each beach access area. The earlier the better but it’s available. Enjoy!

The mornings are the most beautiful and peaceful as the sun rises on this side. Best to come in the morning and on a weekday.
