A little bit out of the way, has facilities and less crowds to deal with could use a few bike racks and only has small parking lot.

This is a beautiful family-friendly beach with restrooms & outside showers to rinse off. Parking is limited, so you may have to wait a few minutes for someone to leave. I would definitely recommend this beach :)

Our family went in the afternoon, taking a walk from our Airbnb on Ulupa Street. Very quiet local beach where private houses faced most part of the beach. There are shady areas where you can relax. My son got stung by a jelly fish 5 minutes after getting in the water up to his knees, so watch out for them. If you do get stung, make sure to take off the tentacles and then put vinegar straight from the jar, rinse off with fresh water after about 10 minutes. I took another walk the following morning around 7am, and it was beautiful. We weren’t there during the daytime, but it’s a great place to avoid crowds and tourists.

I’ve grown up going to this beach and I love it! However, like the rest of the island, it’s gotten crowded. I miss it being a local beach without so many tourists. So many people don’t clean up after themselves and don’t respect the land, water, or other people. If you go, please keep plastics away from the beach. If you bring something plastic, take it with you when you leave!!
