The young owner/operator is passionate about his work and sharing the experience and area with his guests. We felt like we were visiting with a friend. It was one of our favorite experiences while visiting the Kailua area.

My first choice when it comes to renting bicycles. Located in the heart of Kailua, across the street from Boots and Kimus and across the street from Target. The bikes were in good shape, the Japanese lady who was helping us out was very nice. Renting was painless and easy, with just a simple waiver to sign and here we... More

I came here with my parents to rent bicycles. They had a nice selection of bicycles in the morning. The place is pretty popular with the Japanese tourists so I recommend getting the bicycles early. The bicycles were not very expensive and the lady helping us was very friendly.

Probably the best and most convenient location to rent bicycles in Kailua. Very convenient location, just minutes from the bus stop and from the tourist drop off location, this establishment specializes in renting bicycles. The bikes that we rented were in very good shape, and relatively cheap, especially for Kailua. The staff was very friendly. The young girl that was... More

I went to visit Kailua this past weekend, and discovered that although it is a pretty small town, it is too large to walk everywhere, especially if you want to check out the beaches. Thank goodness that I found this bike rental place, Kailua Ocean Adventure. Very conveniently located, near the bus stop across the street from Target. Their rental... More

Five of us went out from Kailua Beach Park on an outrigger canoe. Our guide Ikaika and his son Tamaroa took us out to Mokulua, the twin islands. Ikaika led us to the tidal pools on the island, pointing out sea critters. Paddling in the waves was an adventure. The trip was a bit more than three hours. Chris, the... More

Born and raised in Hawaii and now living in Los Angeles and when coming back and visiting Hawaii, I highly recommend this trip, make sure to ask for Johnny, he is the best period! You have to go out and try this experience, my daughter is 8 years old and she had a blast! Johnny and his crew are very... More

Our group - two seniors, 4 adults and 2 kids (9 and 11) were considering an outrigger trip to the moke islands. After contacting Kailua Ocean Adventures (KOA), we decided that a shorter tour out to flat island from Kailua beach might be a better option for our specific mix of ages and fitness levels. The result was one of... More

Kailua Ocean Adventures is an excellent organization providing top flight personal service. It is a small company and according charges much less than the big outfits, but the service is outstanding. Jonny and Connor took me and my two kids on an ocean canoe trip to flat island. With them along, we had no worries about getting there safely and... More

Jonny from Kailua Ocean Adventures is the best! We were out for at least 3 hours, visiting the Mokes and Flat Island. We even caught some waves in between! I live in Kailua and have been to the Mokes before in a kayak, but this was even better. If you're visiting the island, I highly recommend the outrigger canoe over... More
