We had an amazing sunset ride with Carlos during our stay at turtle bay. We walked by the stables before we signed up and saw what excellent shape the horses are in with beautiful coats and healthy appetites and decided to sign up for a ride. The horses are pretty docile, so kids and inexperienced riders will feel comfortable on... More

My husband and I had a fantastic time on the trail ride by the beach in July 2016. There are plenty of trees to provide shade. We were lucky to have tour guide Carlos! We enjoyed the conversation and details about the horses, trees, and history. He even stopped to save a baby bird that was in the wrong place... More

The ride was great, more than half of it was along the beach. We booked the 10:30 ride and checked in at Turtle Bay Resort and were driven to the stables. There we were given a locker to put stuff in. The horses were well behaved and easily corrected with the reigns. We went along the beach and then thru... More

What a Romani experience to her the waves crashing alongside a sunset horseback ride. He guide was extremely helpful and informative. It was so cool to see the lightening tree from the hunger games movie and the sheer size of the banyan tree close up was breathtaking!!!

My husband and I took the sunset ride along the beach. Our guides were friendly and helpful. Our main guide, Kai, took the time to take pictures with everyone's own camera at various points along the ride so we now all have memories of our ride. Our horses were well-trained, which was great for us since we are not experienced... More

These horses are so over giving people rides. They are four legged slaves. They seem so bummed out and have no spirit. The saddest thing...they are only going to go one slow speed and the workers at the stable should tell the tourists to NOT KICK the horses in the ribs because they a not going to go any faster.... Aloha Bee, I was honestly shocked by your comments but appreciate your concern for our horses. We love our hoses and treat them as if they are part of our ohana or family. Believe me, they have spirit. They are just well trained and well-seasoned trail horses that know their job and how take the best care of our guests.... More

Went on the 4th of July. Granddaughter rides horses. I don't. Didn't need to know. Staff was amazing. Especially our guide Raul. The ride lasted 45 minutes, probably 10 to 15 people. The trails by the ocean are beautiful. The horses walk in line, unless one stops to get a bite to eat. The military site was interesting. The movie... More

Our family of 4 decided to go on this adventure because the oldest daughter loves horses. We scheduled our trail ride for 10:30 and showed up to the turtle bay stables at 10:00. We were greeted by pleasant workers and visitors alike. We were free to take pictures with the horses in their holding pen, which I thought was nice.... More

My Family of 5 took the sunset Horse ride and it was fabulous. My guys are older and did not know what to expect but they loved every minute of it. Our Guides Kai and Tiani were excellent. Kai was very friendly and chatted with my family and gave us great information on our ride. We really enjoyed the ride... More
