I had an amazing experience with Pacific Skydiving. Growing up on the island and then moving to the mainland gave me another appreciation for this beautiful state. Rocco did a great job conversing with me and gave me clear instructions on what to do and was patient with me when I didn't know what to do. Garcia did an amazing job with videos and photos too! If it's your first time skydiving, it's worth the extra $280 to get photos and videos! They gave me 92 pictures and made a 4 minute video. I recommend that you tip your tandem master and your videographer as well. They will very much appreciate it and it seems like few people do so. I gave them $40 each. Also, a heads up, be patient. My appointment was at 8 and I got on the plane around 11. But the wait was well worth it!

Making my reservation online was easy and their follow up communication via text and email provided all of the details that I needed to understand what, when, where and cost. My son in law and I both were first time jumpers and am very thrilled with our overall experience. I jumped with Krissy and Cam, he jumped with Aaron and Austin. Absolutely the very best experience of my life, the team at Pacific Skydiving is on top of everything. If I am ever in Hawaii again you can bet there will be another jump with this team in my plans! Thank you all!

PROS: Pacific Skydiving was a great experience! The instructors were through and detailed. The jump was amazing and worthwhile. Very very scenic views after your free fall.
CONS: During the 15 minute flight up the instructors tried to make light of the experience by making jokes that were borderline unacceptable. Be prepared to pay fees and up to $250 for video/pictures(per person) Also be prepared to wait for up to 1.5 - 2 hours after completing your paperwork to have your flight

Strictly based on reservation/website/communication with customers. Made a reservation a month in advance of trip and paid a $22 deposit for two of us to go sky diving at $184/pp (+$30 for ultimate jump/pp, $214/pp total). A day before the jump we got a confirmation with balance due, but no indication or communication that it changed unless you scanned the bottom of the email- however, our balance due was the original rate we booked at. When we completed the jump and paid, they charged us $244/pp (ended up being 276/pp), including a 5% airport fee and 3% cc processing fee (also not listed on website, so make sure to factor in additional unlisted fees for using a cc, otherwise $500+ in cash for two). When I contacted them to show my original booking price, confirmation page a day ahead of the jump listing balance due, and had email receipts they told me “rates change and we charge what the rate is that day”… why bother taking reservations or even listing rates ahead of time? Utter lack of communication, no info listed on webpage that rates change and reservation rates are useless, and lack of customer service. To be clear the price wasn’t an issue, it was the lack of communication that rates change and they wouldn’t honor a reservation rate- why even bother with listing balances due? Just take a deposit. It’s a shame as the experience was awesome. Wouldn’t recommend unless you know ahead of time what you’re paying so there’s no surprises.

Not great, not terrible, just an average experience. The jump by itself was great but the whole experience was not that much. First of all, when you have jump booked for 09:30, it means you will do it at 12:30. Almost 3 hours of waiting. The safety instructions were almost none. They treat you like a piece of meat, you do not feel welcomed. You are paying crazy money there and they want you to pay a dollar every time you open a locker which is absolute nonsense. Also ... you pay more than 200 USD for pictures which are not really good. I am really sorry to write this but the cost is definitely not worth it. On the other hand, the jump by itself is a great experience.

The jump itself with Rocco was great! He was very friendly and clearly communicated what to expect step-by-step. The wait after signing the waivers was about an hour. But the office kind of soured the visit: they forgot to mark on my tag the wrist-cam video option I signed up for, so no pictures or video, plus after the jump, I waited in line for around 45 minutes just to pay due to a system issue holding us all up, and when I finally reached the front to pay, the rep said an additional fee could only be paid in cash, only to tell me it could be paid with credit after a few minutes of me fumbling to unlock my debit card for the nearby atm.

What is wrong with the instructors here? Are they not paid enough?
I felt belittled and bullied by the instructor VICTOR. I felt unsafe to be around him and I literally felt threatened. (I feel unsafe even writing this review to the point that he may try to come after me)
He started to lecture me as soon as we landed on how I needed to pay him for landing us safely. Let me get this straight, my safety is depending on the tip amount?
We just landed so of course, I did not have my wallet. I have my full harness on at the landing field and he was harassing me so much I pulled out whatever I had in my pocket and handed it to him out of fear and he said
"No, please don't. (sarcastically). Did I just serve you a coffee? How much do you pay when you go to the restaurant? 20%! How much did you pay for this jump? My tip should be a minimum of $50. Yeah, get it"
I couldn't take his bullying anymore so I walked away but he kept chasing me around to hand me an envelope with my name sticker on it and told me to place in his tip jar.
I literally feel bad for the people that are about to jump with him.
I was planning to get Level 7 with Pacific Skydiving, to be honest, I feel unsafe even going back there.

I went skydiving at Skydive Hawaii and Pacific Skydive within the span of 6 days and my experience with Pacific Skydive was terrible, especially compared to the excellent quality I received from when I first skydived with Skydive Hawaii. Choose Skydive Hawaii NO MATTER WHAT. Pacific Skydive weren’t as organized, respectful, nor good communicators of what the plan was. They made me wait for hours and go later while I showed up early. To be fair, the weather was bad when I went my second time skydiving with Pacific Skydive and it influenced the experience. It also revealed their lower quality and lack of care for their customers. Skydive Hawaii is cheaper, workers are friendlier, and I had a much better time with them than Pacific Skydive.

So the actual experience was great! There were 6 of us and our jumpers were wonderful. We choose the higher drop and had to wait about 30 minutes total after filling out all the paperwork. They made us get on a scale and those over 200 lbs had to pay CASH for the range they were in over 200, up to $50. The guide to fill out the paperwork and woman checking us out at the end both came off as very annoyed and impatient. For those who bought the pictures/videos, they came out great. They could be more organized with better communication and expectation, but the jump itself was awesome!

Pacific Skydiving Center Honolulu is the best skydiving company on Oahu! My girlfriend and I spent almost a grand total and we have no regrets! On a beautiful sunny Sunday (thank god the weather was perfect), we arrived at Pacific Skydiving Center at around 8:30am (an hour early than our scheduled checkin time). We both chose to do the outside camera option. Paperwork’s were a breeze and the wait after that only lasted 30 minutes. Once we partnered up with our skydive instructors, we had a minor delay. The camera option is worth every penny as we both got over 170+ photos and a custom edit video of the entire skydive. Overall, the entire experience from parking at the skydive center to leaving the skydive center lasted only 3 hours total! My advice is to start early as delays can occur throughout the middle of the day!

Early in the morning, that way if there is any delay due to weather you are still first in line.

Hi, who do we write to with a complaint about the sky diving instructor my niece had in Haleiwa recently, his behaviour left her traumatised and spoiled what could have been an awsome experience for her, instead she couldn't wait for the jump to finish to get away from this person who it would appear suffers with a mental health condition and should not be allowed anywhere near young women in a professional capacity. We looked up the website but the link is broken. Any suggestions??
Written August 12, 2017
That is so unfortunate that your niece had such a bad experience. I just submitted a question on the FAQ page and it appears to have worked. You could try to contact that them via the FAQ Contact Form. A phone call always works well too.
Web links are not allowed in answers on TripAdivsors, but if you Google "Pacific Skydiving Center Honolulu" you should be able to find the site. The FAQ page is under the "About" menu.

Hi, I'm Mon and I would like to have some information about their shuttle bus of the pacific skydiving. I will go travel alone in August and decided to use their service and I will stay at the major hotel in Waikiki . Does the driver come on time to pick you up at the hotel? Do I need to call him before the pick up time? What if I miss the shuttle back to my hotel, is there any bus or taxi around there? I will not rent a car for this trip and would like to know about safety
.
Thank you so much in advance.
Written May 24, 2017
I believe everyone going there to do a skydive needs to call the day before the scheduled jump in order to confirm it's going ahead - they ask during this call if you need a shuttle pickup. We didn't, because we had a hire car, but we could have arranged it with them then if we needed it.
In terms of the return shuttle, their location is very small and we saw the shuttle parked up ready to take people back to Waikiki. I think it would be difficult to miss the return. I don't think it will be the easiest place to get public transport/a taxi from, so the shuttle is your best bet. Hope this helps.

Anyone has experience taking Pacific skydiving center's shuttle van?
I'm going to make a decision to take their shuttle for the #1 pick-up and usually return to Waikiki before 2 p.m. (Pick up from waikiki around 5.30-6 a.m) And may i know where can i store my baggage(not many) do they have this service?
I will pay for ultimate skydive $175 for my first jump and for photo& video regular($199).Is it worth to pay for?
Does it take long time for waiting the photos and videos?
I don't want to miss the shuttle van as i will not rent a car and this is my solo trip and first time in Hawaii.
Any suggestion about the reservation and the staff?
Is it possible if i make a reservation just only 1 week before the jump?
Written January 29, 2017
We did not take the shuttle. No experience with that. Yes the video and photos are well worth it. We waited about 20 to 30 minutes for the photos and videos. Staff was great. Can't tell you about the reservation, I think we made it when we were there so only a day or two in advance.
