I've ridden before in various states and in Australia. I am physically disabled, and they were the only trail ride that was willing to have me ride. Both Heather and Mark made me feel very welcome. I had difficulty getting on the horse but Mark was able to get me in the saddle. Because I was not comfortable,(new hips) I decided... More

I'm not into horses but my daughter is. This was one of her favorite vacation activities. I had to go along with her as she is a young teen and Patty made me feel very comfortable as I haven't been on a horse since I was 6years old! During the ride Patty talked about the various plants, trees and creatures... More

Mahalo for sharing your 5 star review of our horseback ride. It is wonderful to read it was one of your daughter's favorite activities, and that you too felt confident after being out of the saddle for a bit. We look forward to welcoming you back, until then Happy Trails to you. More

I took my 6 years old daughter for her first horseback riding. Mark and Heather were very helpful and friendly. The horses are beautiful retired polo ponies and we enjoyed the rides very much.

Mark and Heather were very friendly, and made sure we were all safe. Helmets are not mandated, but available. My kids and I enjoyed the beautiful trail ride through the pine tree forest. Lots of shelter so no fear of getting too much sun. My husband was not comfortable with horses but after the ride, he's a convert and wants... More

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! This was an awesome experience for our party which included my 80 year old mother who was very afraid of horses and my young daughters who'd never been horseback riding before. From making our reservation with Tammy who was very accommodating to the actual ride with our guide Mark who... More

We had a group with an 8 & 12 yr old and 4 adults and had a great time. Staff was extremely nice and helpful from the moment we arrived. Was kids first time ever around horses and the ones at Happy Trails are great. Everyone had an awesome time and would highly recommend.

As I have temporarily lived here in Hawai'i for nearly 9 years total, I have had the opportunity to experience many of the horseback riding companies on Oahu. Happy Trails is bar far my favorite. Though the rides I have taken are not along a beach, the opportunity to ride through a nature preserve in the higher elevations of Oahu... More

We are honored to be your favorite place on Oahu to enjoy horseback riding! Getting outdoors and exploring nature atop these majestic animals can make for an ideal adventure. To have shared in your daughter's 9 year birthday is a treat for us too! We look forward to welcoming you back and appreciate the time you took to share your... More

From the moment we started ascending the road up to the ranch just above the north shore, I knew this was going to be special. Tucked away and ultra private, I couldn't have imagined a more idyllic experience for us and our children (a small, fifty pound 8 year old, 11 and 15). The horses are gentle and sweet -... More

I went on this ride with my four daughters (18, 16, 12, 8) and we all had a great time. The facilities are cute and nestled in the trees. The property is beautiful. The staff were friendly and very helpful. I like bed that this ride was in the trees most of the time because we never got hot. There... More

We had an amazing trail ride with our 6 & 8 year old daughters. We chose Happy Trails because they were the only ones who would allow our 6 year old to ride, but would choose them again no matter what age our girls are. They were very professional and took us to beautiful scenic views of the North Shore.... More
