This is a lovely beach. The parking lot was full, so we paid $5 to park in the yard of a nearby neighbor. This beach had a lot of locals there, which is always a good sign. The water was very warm. There's a pretty...More

Stopped here as part of the north shore tour. The sand here is exceptional and water a bit colder than Waikiki but once you get in it's really nice. This beach is free to the public and has a cliff face people can jump from...More

We went days before the "Eddie" and couldn't believe the waves. At one point the police had to close the road because the water was coming over the highway. Traffic was terrible but that was because everyone on the island was coming to see the...More

This is a great little beach with nice water to swim in. We came here mainly so the teenagers could do a little cliff jumping. They had a great time and it seemed like a pretty safe place to jump (no coral to jump around).

Great beach that is very large with a nice parking lot and facilities. Life guards on duty although the water wasn't that rough since it was July. Fun to watch everyone jump off of the rock as well (although we didn't do this ourselves!)

Amazing beach, amazing waves - not too safe for swimming though. Currents are pretty strong, be careful.

On a driving trip through Haleiwa, my wife and I stopped at the famed North Shore. Dotted with shops, and touristy attractions, the real attraction is the beautiful Waimea Bay, the haunt of surfers. The North Shore does have its share of notables as we...More

We love this beach and went several times on our vacation. Here are some pointers:' 1. Get there early for easy parking. We'd arrive by 8:30 and the lot was half full. 2. On a hot day, the sand can scorch your feet. My dad...More

Spent an afternoon here playing in the surf. For the more adventurous there are some rocks to jump off of into the ocean. My 15 yr old had to try it once.
