This luau was perfect for our family...just the right combination of natural beauty, education about polynesian culture, delicious food, and entertainment. We felt genuinely welcomed as part of the family, enjoyed the ambiance as well as the meal, and highly recommend this luau to visitors!

A truly memorable evening. A wonderful and talented group of people who make everyone feel so welcome and included. Doesn't have that "plastic" and commercialised feeling of so many cultural performances. We loved every moment. Our two grandchildren, aged 2 and 5, were mesmerised by...More

We very much enjoyed this luau. If you’re on the north shore, I highly recommend. We stayed in Waikiki and made the drive which was a big long because of traffic but we loved it and would do it again.

Unbelievable Luau. Attended the Toa Luau on November 11, 2019. We had been to 3 other Luau’s previously and the Toa Luau was hands down, by far the best. To start they put on exhibits of Hawaiian heritage. The meal was excellent as was the...More

This was the best thing we did on our two week vacation to Oahu. Hands on learning, cultural dances and stories from all of Polynesia, and a very good meal (I thought the pork was great). The staff/performers were really great people that made taking...More

We had an amazing time at the Toa Luau and learned a lot about the different cultures prior to the dinner/show. The hosts and hostesses are very nice and willing to ask any questions you may have. Plus, they are awesome performers. The food is...More

Toa Luau was a great experience. The audience numbers are kept small so it feels personal. The warm and engaging performers and staff made us feel like family. Held in a beautiful setting in the Waimea Valley, the venue was comfortable and not crowded. Everyone...More

Only my second luau but by far the best experience! The reviews are accurate - it is small, interactive, welcoming and so much fun. We learned a lot about the cultures of Hawaii's people, which made it meaningful. The performers were incredibly talented and our...More

Yes the roads are safe. We went up the windward said going to the luau and down through the leeward side coming back. You would be traveling leeward, the roads were well lit.

They have attendees seating pre-assigned and they show you to your table before the demonstrations. We did the silver (cheapest) service and were seated on the second level right beside the stage- great seats. Tea and water... More

I agree with what has been said already. It was a simple buffet. But the food was very good and there was plenty. Not a large variety at all. When there’s too much to choose from I tend to over eat anyway. LOL.We loved it.
