This is a nice little aquarium. Plenty of fish (of course), several specie of sharks, some rays, turtles, and jellies. The octopus is hand fed, which is really fascinating to watch, and it's also interesting to watch it work open a jar with a fish in it. There is a whale section and a porpoise section as well. 2-3 hours... More

The Maui Ocean Center was very well done. I would recommend paying the extra #3.00 for the headsets so you can get more out of the experience.

Interesting and informative aquarium/ocean center with enough exhibits to occupy a family for several hours. Many kinds of fish, plus a very interesting jellyfish exhibit. At the shark tunnel, you can actually sit on the ledge and truly watch these magnificent creatures as opposed to just walking through a tunnel as in some other locations. Interactive exhibits as well. You... More

This is an awesome place to visit with the family. The exhibits show all of the species you may see when snorkeling. On our last visit they had baby turtles, too cute. I particularly enjoyed the jellyfish tank. The main tanks is huge and has an underwater tunnel to walk through.

This is a good stop for folks traveling with little ones. As an adult it is interesting, particularly the tunnel. The gift shop is amazing. It can be done in a couple hours or longer depending on your pace.

We had a day we hadn't really planned on stuffing with activity and decided to spend a little time at the Ocean Science Discovery Center. Easily located and parking was a breeze though I must say that admission for adults is a little steep. Teenagers weren't really that impressed but the younger children were all very excited. I've been to... More

Great way to spend time just before boarding our flight back home. The exhibits were informative and fascinating. Being able to observe so many beautiful creatures which inhabit Hawaii was truly amazing! Book online for a discount - we went early to avoid the crowds.

We were leaving the island that evening, so snorkeling, beach activities, etc., were all out of the picture, because we'd have no place to clean up. Plus - it was a rather windy day, so we went to the Ocean Center. I've been to the Aquarium in Monterey, CA which is, arguably one of the best on the planet! But... More
