If you are truly adventurous, like the wind in your hair and the thrill of discovering a side of the island that only a few will see... this wet and wild snorkel excursion, Dolphin Discovery, is for you! Ocean Rafting Tours typically go to the Kanaio Coast as well as La Perouse, past Dolphin Cove, where a pod of spinner dolphins live. Along the way, we almost always see the endangered green sea turtles and during the months between December and April, the awesome humpback whales. The weather dictates our snorkel sites and destinations. We snorkel at two or more spots. The possibilities include the marine preserve Molokini, the rugged Kanaio Coast, La Perouse,Olowalu, Turtle Arches, and the beautiful Coral Gardens. In between our stops our crew will share their knowledge of the ancient history and cultural practices and whatever nature and her beauty have in store for us, you can be sure it will be exciting! (Licensed for 71 passengers, we will take only a small group for maximum comfort with no more than 45 passengers per excursion.) We serve you a continental breakfast featuring fresh bagels with cream cheese, jams, tropical fruit, Kona coffee and juices. Once we get to our second snorkel site, the crew fires up the barbeque for a delicious hot-off-the grill lunch. Lunch includes; hamburgers, veggie burgers, hot dogs, served with all the fixings and Maui Potato Chips along with macadamia nut cookies for dessert. We feature an open bar of beer, wine and sodas. All of your snorkel gear and instruction are provided. Disposable 35mm underwater cameras are available for purchase on board and we have optional SNUBA dives for an additional $59, to the instructor.

Major shout out to Demetrius. Fabulous snuba instructor and was great w our 14 and 11 year old. The snorkel spots were wonderful - clear and so much to see. We saw a white tip reef shark and so many cool and beautiful fish. Food on board was great too -- love the Hawaiian burger. It was a wonderful morning.... More

Spent a wonderful morning on the Maui Magic for the snorkel adventure with my family. Everything was top notch, and highly organized. The crew and captain Charlene go out of thier way to make you feel welcome and comfortable. We snorkeled at Molokini first and then at the Coral Gardens. After snorkeling we had a great bbq (I would definitely... More

We took 2 teenagers and 2 preteens out on a trip to Molokini Weather was too bad to get out but the alternatives chosen were both good. From the time we stepped aboard the crew & captain could not have been friendlier or more help. We all had a fantastic day snorkeling and SNUBA ,thanks Brian - was great to... More

Although the waters were choppy the day we went out, we had a very fun time on the Maui Magic! We saw beautiful fish and even an eel off the shores of Molokini. Jason kept me in stitches and grills a mean Hawaiian burger! Jenna makes delicious real ginger ale! No sea sickness after one of those! The captain is... More

To start, I don't normally do reviews. I was reluctant to sit down and do this review because I don't want the secret to get out, but eventually I realized that this is good for their business. And because this is our FAVORITE thing to do in Maui, I am happy to do whatever I can to help these wonderful... More

The boat crew was really fun .I got to snuba dive for my first time and if you have ever wanted to scuba dive but we're unsure this is what you need to try first. We went snorkeling and swimming with sea turtles. The boat crew made us a great lunch and we had open bar.I highly recommend going on... More

The crew was excellent - great customer service, well maintained boat and equipment, good snacks/food and a great day on the water. Only suggestion is that the company disclose charges for equipment rentals, other diving options (snuba), etc. in advance.

They called us the day before to confirm but never mentioned that we would have the option of renting a shorty wetsuit onboard with a cash only policy. The wetsuits were helpful in allowing us to stay in the water for a long snorkel experience, but there went our meager cash supply so we were unable to tip hard-working crew... More

Well first of all, we started with an enchanting con-shell blow followed by an amazing entrance chant to enter the sea by recording. Then as we started our adventure onto the great Maui Magic, we were served a wonderful breakfast, including muffins & fruits. Following that, we were notified about not flushing toilet paper or other paper products down the... More
