This was a beautiful garden on the road into Iao Valley. Unfortunately it closed about two years ago.

This is a lovely place to go for all ages, make sure to take the tram for the tour, and see how coconuts are opened, hear and see the various plants that are raised here, and some of the history behind it.

This is a wonderful stop on your way into Iao Valley. Unfortunately, the owners decided to close it and put it up for sale. I hope someone purchases it and reopens this great Maui attraction.

We visited the Tropical Gardens in 2011. Wonderful, loved them. Since then we tried in 2014 and 2015 to go again but they were closed, with a For Sale sign. Hope they are open again and we can visit this September. Had orchids sent home...More

Clean and well maintained. We ate lunch at one of the covered picnic tables which were very clean. Lots of space for different groups.

This must have been beautiful at some time but it is run down and disappointing if you are looking for a pleasant walk.

The grounds here are huge and well landscaped and maintained. Admission was free, but if you wanted to ride the tram and get the guided tour, there was a fee of $16.50. It lasted about 50 minutes and was interesting and informative. Our guide did...More

Amazing! Take the time to walk through the garden. Learn the plants. Wonderful learning experience and excellent place to relax and enjoy what Hawaii is made of. Beautiful!
