What a great time! I highly recommend this company - they took the time to ensure everyone felt safe and comfortable with how the zip lines worked. You do 7 zip lines and the views were amazing as were the guides. I would definitely do it again the next time I’m on Maui!

You must not miss this experience! These guys know their business, the island, their mountain and above all, your safety. From the minute we were in our harnesses until we were back at the base we were flying (sometimes on an ATV), learning, enjoying unbelievable views or climbing. There is some hiking to be done between the lines but nothing too strenuous and worth every second of it. The zip lines carry you through miles of mountain terrain as high as 600 ft off the ground and the final leg is an incredible 3700 ft long run(the longest in Hawaii). The lines provide views of Maui you can’t see elsewhere including a bicoastal view of the north and south (breathtaking) and an island golf course. You will learn about the land and the surrounding areas including great restaurant tips if you’re looking for them. Simply put, you will love this. If you pay attention you will see how much work they do managing the lines and the brakes to keep you safe...they appreciate tips and earn every penny of them. This experience was fun for the whole family (14, 17 and 20). One of the most memorable days on our trip for sure…thanks guys!

My family and I the opportunity to Zip last week and had a fantastic time. The four guides made the experience fun and exciting. The shortest zip you go backwards and have the opportunity to turn upside down, on the longest line you can reach in excess of 50 mph. At no time did anyone feel unsafe. You also get to hear a little history about Maui.
Afterwards, treat yourself to an amazing meal at Cafe Ole at the mill house.

The guides make the trip. Alec, Kaylon, Eddie and the guys ensure a safe and fun zip line adventure. You will be cruising on the longest line in the state 600ish feet in the air around 45-55mph. You actually zip line from one zip code to another; the course is epic. You’ll be thrilled while enjoying the sights from west Maui mountain hiking and speeding between platforms. Great way to experience the island during your stay. Make this adventure happen.

Flyin Hawaiian was an amazing zipline experience. It was my husbands and my first time ever and they immediately got us comfortable and having fun with a small training line that instantly set us at ease. The tour included a super fun ATV ride up to the first line. The guides were fun, personable, and very knowledgeable about all things Maui. It’s a great way to experience the natural beauty of the island!

This was my very first zipline experience and honestly, it's going to be hard to beat. You start off an ATV ride to a small line where you learn how to do zip. Then the knowledgeable and very friendly guides take you through each line while giving you some background and info about the surrounding areas, how high up you are, and how long the line is.
I had the absolute best time with Flyin Hawaiian Zipline and felt 100% safe. Our guides included, Dayven, Kalen, Kaipo and others (please excuse the spellings). They were super nice and understanding. My friend had a slight panic attack and they did a great job of putting her at ease and she ended up loving it as well.
You can not go wrong with this experience!!

Flyin Hawaiian was a thrilling experience from start to finish. In a little over 3 hours we got to meet several friendly and experienced guides, ATV up and down a mountain, receive a thorough history lesson of the Maui Plantation and island, and zipline over 2 miles. The scenery was gorgeous and the guides were beyond helpful. This is a serious recommend for any outdoor enthusiast, first-timer on Hawaii, or just anyone who wants to spend a few hours enjoying a day on Maui

Amazing zipline experience! Super knowledgeable and friendly staff made us feel safe and ensured a great time. I am afraid of heights but was able to do this with no problem - staff was very patient and made me feel comfortable and was never rushed. They were playing some great Hawaiian music on a JBL speaker which added some some great vibes! Would highly recommend this zipline experience!

Flyin' Hawaiian Zipline is a blast! Safety is the number one priority. And after that, it's all about fun! You'll bounce along in the 4x4 until you reach the first zipline. Then it's time to start flyin'! One by one, you'll fly over tree tops until you reach the end of the first zipline. Then you'll do a little uphill hiking, ready for the next ride. Get to know the people in your group - it's fun when you laugh together and cheer each other on as you fly over more mountain ridges and more tree tops. (You may even get to zipline upside down and backwards if you'd like on one of the lines.) Repeat multiple times until you come to the grand finale....Zip like an eagle swooping in on its prey! Before you know it, back down the mountain, bouncing along in the 4x4; a bit dusty, sweaty, and tired, but smiling like crazy wishing you could do it all over again. The guides are fantastic - they love to have fun too, and they will make this an experience you will never forget! They even carried my sister's gear from one platform to the next just because it was her birthday! Thanks, guys!

One person in our party would not be going on zip lines Is the waiting area where we finish so she can take pictures of us ?
Written June 11, 2018
You've likely got your answer now; like others have commented the zipline's remote location, the riggers of travel to and from and safety concerns make spectating unlikely. You could contact the fellows at Flyin Hawaiian and inquire?

From their website Q&A: What are the age and weight restrictions?
Participants must be at least 10 years of age and weight between 75-250 pounds. This policy is strictly enforced. Participants weighing outside this range will not be allowed to go and a full charge for that person will occur.

The road is pretty torn up and rocky. If you have neck or back problems it could be an issue. The van ride to the safety briefing area is rough too.
From their website: Guests should be prepared for moderately strenuous activity, able to carry 10 pounds and be in good health. Participants will be required to hike short distances over slippery and/or uneven terrain. This tour is not suitable for those who are pregnant, have back or neck issues/injuries, experience dizziness, seizures, or any other serious medical condition.

We have a group coming in October. I don't want to zip line but I want to come with the group (birthday outing for one in our group). Can I ride along and not zip? If so is there a charge for me?

It wouldn't be possible to go up the mountain with them. However, home base is at the Maui Tropical Plantation, which is absolutely beautiful. There is a restaurant and some little shops where you could easily kill time with a good book.

How much walking uphill? How much climbing stairs, ladders, other?
Written April 25, 2017
The only walking is station to station. Some is up dirt paths but it is only 20 or 30 feet. One path may be longer but there is no rush. Take your time and it's not that bad. I'm 67 and I had no problem.

Hi would you be able to pick up my sister and I just north of or in Lahaina or the ocean center before the 1 pm tour? We are trying to find a way to get to you for tomorrow's zip lining.
Written February 17, 2017
I don't think they do transportation. The Ocean Center is fairly close--if you are able to get there, price an Uber or a Lyft, which might be a little less expensive than a taxi. It's worth the trouble!
Written February 17, 2017
Do they take pictures for you of you on lines that you can purchase after?
Written November 17, 2016
My zip partner strapped a GoPro to her chest with a strappy.
We took a few videos of our group leaving some launch platforms & landing @ some platforms.
The harnesses they provide you have a small zippered pocket to secure cell phone & suntan lotion.
