For almost 20 years Valley Isle Excursions has been providing a wonderful, eco-friendly, road to Hana tour. This tour encompasses not only the Hana highway but all around Mt. Haleakala's going as close to the sea as we can.

This tour in our custom cruisers begins with hotel or condo pickup, breakfast, a tour thru the rainforest, a picnic in Hana, numerous stops and brings you back to your hotel in time for dinner.

This trip was amazing!!! Got to see lots of beautiful spots in Maui that I wouldn't have gotten to see on my own. Our guide Tom was amazing as well. I am so glad I decided to go with Valley isle Excursions. Part of the joy of the Road to Hana is being able to look at everything, take in the scenery, and experience the hidden gems on Maui's north/east side. As a solo traveler, if you are always driving, you rarely have the time to stop and look. And... More

A few days ago we went on the road to Hana tour with Damien as our guide. it was a brilliant day from start to finish! Damien was absolutely fantastic and his knowledge about the island was second to none! We also felt very safe with his driving given the roads. We were originally going to drive it but we... More

Valley Isle picks you up at your hotel and the first stop is a nice buffet breakfast. Our first bus needed to be traded out and this was done with no inconvenience to us. The Road to Hana has been very much improved since we were last on Maui 11 years ago - but it is still very narrow, very... More

Our family took the "Road to Hana" trip and it was totally fantastic. Barry was our driver and he was absolutely excellent. He blew us away with all the incredible knowledge he shared with us about the places we visited, the history and the culture. He was polite, courteous, professional, helpful, funny and extremely patient. The trip was very interesting... More

First of all booking a full day (10 hour) tour to explore the Hana road and all sites in-between is the best way to combine a stunningly beautiful trip around the Hana region of Maui, especially since the road can be adventurous and someone else is driving, Lots of photo ops, but our difference was having Damien as a driver.... Booked a Road to Hana Trip on the web with Valley Isle Excursions. Got a $10 discount. Received an email confirmation. you don't get charged until the day before your trip. They will call you to confirm but advised to call them when you arrive on the island. The excursion bus arrived at our hotel at 6:20 am and on... More

Dennis was great !!! The smaller, comfortable van is geared towards a personal adventure. Our trip had only 14 guests. Dennis was both entertaining and a wealth of information on the Hawaiian landscape and culture. Trip has lots of stops including picnic in Hana, the seven sacred pools and then takes you on the backroad home where rental cars are... More
