Don't mess around, go with the best sunrise bike tour company on the island of Maui. Great bikes, great staff, world class.

My husband and I recently did the Summit Tour on our honeymoon and it was super fun! We met at the shop at 9 AM and Maui Sunriders explains everything you need to know. Our guide was knowledgeable and funny as he drove us to the top and gave us a tour of the summit. Then he got us set... More

Buck list item!!!! Well worth it. Get up really early was the only downside of this adventure. The tour company was professional, organized and efficient. To take this tour you should be comfortable riding on a mountain bike downhill. The equipment was pretty good! The bikes were in excellent shape, seats comfortable, tires great and the breaks strong. The only... More

With a stupidly early start (4am) we headed over to Paia to get sorted out with bikes and gear for the trip up the mountain. Sadly the weather was not very good - early morning rain meant that we probably weren't going to get a nice sunrise. We got to the top and the weather was awful. We had to... More

This was our first time doing a ride like this, but I can't imagine it being any better than this. Our equipment was great, our guide was really charismatic, and they gave us terrific instructions. It was really nice to have as long as we wanted to get down the mountain. We stopped midway for a good breakfast and it... More

On previous trips to Maui I was overwhelmed with all there is to do that I never did the downhill bike ride down Mt. Haleakalā. People that I knew that have done it always said that I was missing out. I can say that they were right. They offer Sunrise, Summit, and Express tours. My family wanted the Sunrise that... More

Overall we had a wonderful experience. My family did the 9am start ride. You start down at the shop and pick up all your gear and get safety instructions before you head up the mountain. The van ride up the mountain is a little long and crowded but Remmy was our guide and he had tons of stories and historical... More

We booked Maui Sunriders for their bike only option. We've heard a lot about the sunrise tour, but we just couldn't make it work with our schedule so we chose to do the bile down only. We met at the office at 9am and were fitted for equipment and briefed on the bikes, the route and safety. Our driver, Lakota,... More

This was a breathtaking experience: which includes the ride up, the sunrise & of course the 23 mile bike ride from the volcano back to Paia. The ride up at 3am was an awesome climb, you could see the nighttime burning of the sugarcane fields during the harvest. as we got higher up the volcano, the switchbacks allowed us to... More
