Very cool to see how it all works! I learnt several things and got some great photos on this Hawaiian experience. As some small feedback, I would have liked to have picked and then eaten a pineapple (perhaps there’s some technical reason you can’t), and it would have been cool to see the machinery in action

The whole experience was one for the record books. Our guide Ken was very knowledgeable and you could tell by the way he talked that he loves what he does. He made this tour one of the best we have been on. When we got to the part to taste the pineapple in the fields he definitely made sure you got enough. It was so juicy all the way to the core. Definitely a must do if you come to Maui.

If you have never had Maui Gold pineapple, are in for a treat. In the US a vast majority of the pineapples are grown in Costa Rico. The Maui soil, climate and type of fruit make it unique. The tour goes from planting, harvesting and processing, includes tasting a pineapple freshly picked. Ken was knowledgeable, funny and a great ambassador for Maui Gold. This tour ranks in the top 5 things to do on a Maui.

Wasn't sure what to expect of it when we went, but sure glad we did. The tour bus is on an older school bus, which was okay, but the tour guides were amazing. They made the experience great. All you can eat pineapple slices fresh from the garden were tremendous. The lunch is over at the cafe across the street, which I can highly recommend. The tasting room was also a lot of fun. Overall the staff made every effort to make sure that we were taken care of, and made it a great experience.
