Went with Randy who has lived here over 35 years and been on every trail here in Maui. Safety was number one with him and he was full of history and eco facts of Hawaii. The hike was based on our wants - tropical, bamboo, waterfalls and nature. The trip was all we asked for from rainforest to the edge... More

This was advertised as a Moderate hike and since we decided not to do the first leg, I'd give this a 6.5/10 in terms of difficulty. You can not wear runners which is part of the reason why we chose not to go the first leg. I suspect most of the waterfalls are on that part so I was disappointed... More

What a wonderful hiking experience today. Randy is very personable and knowledgeable. He is a wealth of info on local flora and customs. The hike itself had us crossing steams, rappelling down small, muddy slopes holding onto sugar canes for support...great fun. Could never have done it without him.

This was a truly amazing experience. We had a really small group (only 3 people!) and the hike was exactly what I imagined a great Maui hike would be! it was definitely not something I could have planned on my own or read from a tour book. Randy was so knowledgeable and we really learned a lot from him. He... More

Our family really enjoyed the challenging hike and felt safe the whole time. Randy is extremely knowledgeable and taught us more than we could ever remember about the local culture, geography, and history! We would definitely book another hike with him when we return.

Randy really knows his stuff. He gave detailed narrative along the whole tour of Hawaii's history, geology, flora and fauna and major tourist sites. He was very engaging and well prepared

We had an awesome hike with Randy while we were in Maui! The cool thing about our hike was that it was customized just for us. Because we had just our family of four he could take us in to more interesting places and closer to waterfalls. He customized it perfectly to our level of hiking ability. Randy is super... More

I took my 17 year old daughter and 12 year old son on this hike to experience a more natural Hawaii far from the tours and trinkets. And it delivered. From the first phone call, Randy was very helpful in setting everything up for a family with varying skill levels and tolerances. The hike was the perfect blend of slightly... More
