The Original Lanai tour established in 1988. Only Ocean Riders circumnavigates the island of Lanai on a continual, year round basis. Nobody knows the island better. Others have tried imitating our trip but it cannot be duplicated. Our boat is the perfect vessel for handling what Lanai has to offer and the others just can't or won't do what we do. No timers to call you back from the water and cutting your time short (the other tours can't say that).

It rained the day of our scheduled snorkel tour. Ocean riders was upfront and told us that we would not get what we were paying for and decided to cancel that part of the tour. They did offer our group an alternate whale watching tour...More

This tour was fantastic! We had an amazing trip with beautiful views of Maui and Lanai and incredible snorkel spots. This tour was recommended to us by a local as the best snorkel trip on Maui and it did not disappoint. If you are planning...More

Love the whole experience and was quiet the adventure. Wonderful service and beautiful breathtaking scenery going to and around Lanai. Saw spinner dolphins, pilot whales, lots of fish, and swam with the turtles. I highly recommend this trip to any snorkeler. The best thing I...More

We stayed in Kihei and even with the early morning and 40 minute drive to get to Lahaina, this was AMAZING. We loaded into the boat, crossed the channel, and passed two ship wrecks before stopping at our first snorkel spot. The water was quite...More

We did this tour on 4/26/14 and had such a great time. We purposely chose a unique snorkel trip, on a small boat and going somewhere most other folks didn't go like Molokini. While yes, the snorkeling was fantastic, getting a chance to see the...More

The day didn't look that good to start, as we were pelted with rain as we crossed the channel (though they did hand our rain jackets), but the skies soon opened and we were blessed with a sunny day. We even lucked out this late...More

This was amazing! Yes it was expensive but so worth it! We did a swim to the beach and went to 3 snorkel spots! There were so many fish! Our guides were friendly but not fake or annoyingly energetic. The perfect amount of chatty. They...More

We chose Ocean Riders because of their smaller open air boat and ability to go to more out of the way places and they didn't disappoint! We saw amazing fish, gorgeous scenery, flying fish, turtles and even a surprise whale sighting. Knowledgeable, friendly crew made...More

They have a safe storage off the boat that you can leave stuff with before you get on. People brought sunglasses etc. on the boat and they had them leave them in a certain spot on the deck while snorkeling. I don't think... More

When we had gone in Jan 2017 it was $139 US and you arrive at the marina at 6:30 in the boat just after 7 am and return between 3 & 4 pm depending on the day and what you see. They provide lunch.

We enjoyed the Ocean Riders tour which incorporated several snorkeling stops near reefs and some near land. There is no place to use an actual toilet, but the ocean didn't mind the occasional pee break. If there is any... More
