We booked a 6-hour charter with a focus on fishing, exploring the waters around the island and seeing the sunset. We were worried 6 hours might be too long, but by the end of the day it didn't seem long enough. The water, island and sunset views are amazing. On top of that, this is your private charter. Captain Henore will help make your stay aboard your own, all you have to do is ask! The boat is comfortable, has sun and shade options, and accommodates a lot of fishing poles. The Captain himself is experienced, knowledgeable about the area and interesting to talk to. Great service and could not asked for a better charter experience. Thank you Captain Henore! :-)

Did the 4 hr AM private fishing tour on April 20th, 2022 with my family of 5 (wife and kids, ages 7, 8, and 11) and my mother-in-law. We did reef fishing and had a relaxing time out on the water...caught and kept some too. Saw dolphins and had a close encounter with a whale! The boat (being a power catamaran) was very stable in the water and offered plenty of comfort and shade, when needed. Captain Henore and his first mate Bailey were excellent! Highly recommend the day with them!

Fantastic experience!!
We couldn’t have been happier! Scheduled this trip for a retirement gift for my husband. Within 30 minutes he caught a Mahi-Mahi. It was awesome! For me, the wife, the true thrill was of the hour+ of at least a 100 dolphins deciding to swim with us all around the boat. I got great videos of them. Henore and Will were the best guides. Super fun and knowledgeable. They went the extra mile (and extended time) to find fish and make sure we had a great time. If we go back to Maui we will book this again. Before this trip I didn’t think I would ever say I would want to go on a fishing trip.
After, the guides filleted the fish for us. It’s was delicious. The boat was very clean and tip top condition.
If you are hesitating, don’t! Book it now!! You will not regret it!

We enjoyed every minute with Captain Henore, Michele and sweet Blue.
We booked the half day snorkel and fishing tour and we were lucky enough to boat over to Lanai. We saw a huge pod of spotted dolphins and snorkeled at two pristine spots -- 25 feet of crystal clear water. Henore and Michele were knowledgeable, safe and super engaging conversationalists with my three teenagers. I highly recommend Kaha Loa Charters to anyone who loves spending time on and in the water.

During our first trip to Maui we went out on Kaha Loa Charters with Hanore and ship mate Michelle. We booked an entire day and we’re extremely impressed! They each had an incredible insight of the area and the islands. My goal was to whale watch and snorkel and my husband wanted to fish. We both had so much fun doing all of it in one day! Michelle was so knowledgeable and made me feel so comfortable during our snorkeling adventure. We saw so many whales and it was absolutely beautiful! Blue was the boat dog and such a good girl! Yes, we brought her some treats to butter her up a little and she was adorable. Blue loved the whale watching as much as we did! We did have a windy day but Henore was persistent and patient and helped us catch a fish at the end of the day. We had an incredible time and we highly recommend this experience! Aloha!

We did a 4 hour private charter that combined fishing and snorkeling. Since we had already done a lot of snorkeling around Maui. Capt. Henore asked if he could take us out to Lanai which would take a little longer and we were all for it. We fished on the way out (got skunked darn it) but the experience was great. He and his crew treated us like we were good friends doing a trip on his boat. The boat was very comfortable and he knows how to make it smooth sailing even in wavy water. He took us to an excellent snorkeling spot and we had a great time in the water. I even saw some new things which is hard with how much snorkeling I've done. All 4 of us really enjoyed our trip and we all agree his boat would be our first choice the next time we go out.

Forget the large ships with hordes of people fighting for spots to see whales or snorkel. If you can, book on the Kaha Loa with Captain Henore for an adventure that will last a lifetime. Thanks Capt. Please make sure Blue wears her life preserver on all future trips. Wont be long before she figures out she can go snorkeling too

This is an absolute must-do if you are visiting Maui for the first time. Captain Henore, Michelle, Johnie, and Brian were the best crew ever! They were very attentive and met our every need. It was my wife’s birthday and she really wanted to see dolphins and swim with the turtles; Henore made sure her wishes came true. The water and weather were both amazing. Henore took us to some of the best-secluded spots off the island. We’ve made friends for life with this crew…ohh I can’t forget to mention “Blue”. She was also a verity cute furry shipmate aboard too. Thanks for everything!

I’m a Maui resident for over 17 years and have been on a lot of boats and had a lot of tremendous experiences on the water but the Kaha Loa and their crew deliver like no other!
That’s why when my family comes to visit I called Henore right away and set something up.
We always have an amazing time and there are always tremendous memories made!
This recent trip was absolutely epic!; cruising, fishing, whale watching and exploring coasts that few get the privilege of seeing!
Henore is masterful is a captain. The boat is always smooth even in the wildest seas and you always feel safe and secure.
I run Let Me Show You Maui, a private jungle tour company here on the island and I refer all my guests to these guys for everything ocean! The customized experience we try to create in the jungle is matched by these guys on the sea!
I couldn’t recommend them any higher!

Incredible trip. Henore made it work for our family of 5- including a 12, 10 and 4 year old. We trolled and caught the first Ono of the season - a 27.5# and our 12 year old reeled it in! Snorkled with turtles. Henore talked it up with us the whole trip. Saw 5+ whales too! All mid April which is really cool. Worth every penny. Henore filleted the fish and sent us back to the condo with 2+ lbs of premium Ono for dinner!!!!!
