I've tried to call multiple times and even left messages. I never heard back. Does anyone know if this place is closed? Their website says they shut down August 1st but someone else wrote a review August 17th.
The line follows a 6-mile stretch of historic right-of-way originally constructed to haul sugar cane from the sugar plantation fields in Kāʻanapali to the Pioneer Mill in Lahaina.
Our visit was in May 2010.
A trip form Lahaina up to Ka'anapali and return should not be missed. A very relaxing ride through Lahaina up to the glitz of Ka'anapali through the old cane fields with great entertainment and commentry was a highlight.
