Have been to this luau several times over the past 15 years. Should not have gone this time. Long wait to get into the property and our table waiter who's name was Rudy was not waiting on us. Our party of 10 went to the bar if we wanted a drink. Maybe they are under staffed, who knows? Will not... More

This luau was the highlight of my trip! The food and entertainment were top notch and the service was excellent. The weather was so perfect and the luau was in a great location with breathtaking views. We even got the opportunity to see a rainbow. We had a very gracious host and the dancers were spectacular and worth every penny!... More

The show was ok at best ...the fire twirler dropped his fire wand a couple times and the other dancers did a nice job but the food was terrible . Had breaded fish planks at a luau instead of grilled fish...it was really disappointing the pork and chicken was ok and the rest was terrible ! Was suppose to get... More

We went to this for a second time. They have a great kids buffet - adults were even eating from it - hot dogs, mac & cheese, chicken nuggets, fries. The food was good. We paid extra for the VIP is worth it. You do not wait in line and get right in to sit and relax and you sit... More

The show and the performers were amazing. They did and excellent job at story telling and captivating the audience. On the other hand.. we paid to be "VIP" seats and instead were seated nowhere close to the stage our drinks were not strong and the pig they took from the "imu" looked like it was plastic. The food was average... More

This Royal Lahaina Luau is nothing but a simple moneymachine. It offers you nothing of quality. You are treated like cattle, go there, wait there, sit there, go get food now, sit again.......and you are sitting in unconfortable plasticchairs in long rows - very clos side by side far from the beach. Food is mediocre - industrially prepared and tasteles... More

The entertainment was excellent. Very entertaining and educational. The fire dancers were fantastic and the costumes were excellent as well. i gave this an average rating because of the food. I understand that the thought is probably looking at the whole. There are a lot of diets and pallets to satisfy, so staying on the safe side is best for... More

We went to this as part of our travel package. To be honest, I'm not sure I would have paid the price of admission otherwise. The food was edible, but it isn't fine dining. But we thoroughly enjoyed the show itself! The dancers were wonderful, the history was fascinating, and the overall talent was topnotch. The evening was definitely enjoyable... More

Cons: 80% off the experience Long lines just to get in, even though we got there early. The chairs are cheap and dirty. The ground was damp and gross. The worst part was the smell, it seriously smelled like we were sitting in a dumpster. We payed too much for what we got. There are two bathrooms per gender for... More
