This is a wonderful place to see the biggest tree ever. The kids can walk on these low branches. It is truly amazing.

This tree is amazing. It’s one tree but looks like many huge trees and is the tree in the whole park! You basically just stop in the square to see this tree but it certainly is something unique to see.

Visiting theBanyan tree park is cool in many ways Not only does it provide shade in otherwise very hot Lahaina but the history of the tree and it’s growth is interesting. There are some good eateries across the road too!

Banyan Park is right off of Front street in the heart of Lahaina. First of all it's a very nice place to sit in the shade, relax and people watch. The immense Banyan Tree in the middle of the park will make you appreciate how...More

I stopped last minute, I’m so happy I did. This tree is something out of a sci-fi movie, very cool. Front St. has some trendy shops, and food. I’d go again.

Is right here and it’s weird because it’s only one large tree but when you are under it, there are 16 more trunks branching down from the canopy looking for more earth to plant itself in. It’s a great place to cool off outside under...More

While I’ve been in Lahaina a couple times before, the banyan tree always impresses with its size and mass. It’s age is impressive and with its origin (native to India) it is worth a visit.

Huge beautiful tree right by the cruise pier. It spreads pretty much the whole block. Lots of people taking pictures.

Beautiful! This park is in the heart of town, directly in front of the marina and across the street from a fun shopping area. Their Banyan tree is as large as the park and it is beautiful! Don't miss the Pioneer Inn next to the park,...More

If you are in the area, stop and see this huge Banyan tree that covers the city block. Buy a Hawaiian shaved ice and sit under the tree and cool off. There are numerous restaurants and shops around the park to check out too.

I don't know the answer to your question but if you can remember any store or restaurant names where he was around, I would call them and ask for help. If it was in the park, try calling the old courthouse.

I am going in October. I will look for him when I visit the park. If I get his contact info, I will forward it to you.
