We took the Adult Sunset Sail and it was really good. The crew was very knowledgeable and actually seemed to enjoy talking to guests about whales. The “pupus” we’re good and the beverages were more than expected.
This was the best group sailing trip we’ve taken in Hawaii, and we’ve done quite a few.

We've been out with Pacific Whale foundation before and they are always good. This time, a bit of the passion was missing. The trip was rough. I thought the captain could have done more to keep us more stable. I might be wrong about that. Also, there was way too much attention paid to tipping the crew, most of whom did very little.

We took the Whale watch plus trip. We had a comfortable table but could move around. Despite it being late in the season we saw a calf breaching and a young male close up. I wore motion sickness glasses and had no problems with seasickness this time. Masks on but uncrowded and excellent.

I worked with Robert to get my tours booked for whale watching and Molokini. We went whale watching today and saw a few whales. For the whale tour, they offer coffee water and juice. For the snorkeling they offer breakfast and lunch. This is a non profit organization that benefits from donations. You can purchase shirts and hats and other items from their gift shop ok front Street in Maui.

This is a great place to take a whale watching excursion and learn more about these majestic creatures of the deep! These people are on the front lines of whale conservation and you can tell by their pride and professionalism that they both love and take their jobs VERY seriously! I HIGHLY and without reservation, recommend this place. It is a place where you can experience a THRILL of a lifetime, while supporting these oft neglected, beautiful, majestic, giants of the deep!

If you have the opportunity to see humpback whales in Maui and what to support an organization that promote whale conservation, this is the place for you. Yes, there are other companies that offer whale watching but this one gives you the opportunity to support a nonprofit foundation and student interns/naturalists who are advancing the best practices for the health and well being of whales. Plus it is so awesome to see whales - adults and calves up close.

We completely enjoyed our time out on the water with the crew of the Pacific whale foundation... let me say that everyone on the boat was wonderful. .. so why a rating of 3??? The teenagers that work in the store on front street were absolutely rude and wanted to charge $350 for a defective camera we rented... it began to make a funny sound and started to fog up and we were not able to take more than a handful of pictures. .. we will have to resort to memory and not pictures. We immediately showed the crew on board the boat and they all agreed that the camera was defective and to ask for our money back... we were surprised to be told that we needed to pay the replacement fee of $350 due to the damages... Needless to say I refused to pay and demanded the moneys back.. Dave the troubles and go elsewhere for a camera rental... thanks for a fun time to the crew they again were great! Better customer service us needed for the store staff!

The sunset dinner cruise with the pacific whale foundation was one of our highlights of our latest trip back to HI.
We saw many whales and the staff lowered the sonogram and we were able to hear the male whales sing while have dinner. Can't get better than that!!!!!!

This was way overpriced for the lousy food and 2 simple drinks that each person received. The servers and the captain were very nice, but there are many cruises that serve much better food and unlimited drinks for a lot less!
