The lighthouse itself is not that much, but it is located in a area that has much history. So there are a number of things to see in the area to keep you busy for awhile.

The harbour is a mix of boats going out whale watching, ferries transporting passengers to the nearby islands, and windsurfers and surfers catching the odd small wave . The harbour provides a beautiful backdrop to all these activities

The view of Lanai is ok, but the shops and restaurants along the way are on the tacky side. Good way to spend a day if you need to be in town, though.

Take the time to enjoy the sunset on a sunset cruise sailing out to the harbor. The food and drinks were fabulous. We sat up front on the sailboat to catch the view.

If I remember correctly, there were over 16 boats offering different trips. Parking, some free, is available. There are many eateries to chose from. Front Street very close.

The harbor it self is a little more than average. You can see different colored fish coming off of the fishing boat. The light house is neat, but the most exiting and beautiful thing about the harbor is were it is located and the sunsets...More

Great harbor, shoppers paradise, lots of fun restaurants and oddities. Well worth the tender ride from the cruise ship!

This is where you get on the boat that takes you out to the submarine. The sub goes down 130 feet below sea level where you see lots of different kinds of fish and even a sunken ship.

The waterfront of Lahaina is some of the most beautiful I've ever seen and I've been all over the place. Just have a look at the photos. Unfortunately you're going to have to imagine the cool breeze on your face. Sorry I couldn't upload that...More

There is but it's expensive and it may not be the best thing. Assuming you're staying on Maui, it's probably best to leave the car at the hotel and take a bus - or a hotel shuttle.Maui has extensive bus service with 13... More
