The harbour is a mix of boats going out whale watching, ferries transporting passengers to the nearby islands, and windsurfers and surfers catching the odd small wave . The harbour provides a beautiful backdrop to all these activities

We drove to Lahina and other places, I recall overnight parking as being $25 and you'll have to find it. The town can get congested. Has some of the atmosphere of Cape Cod-Martha's Vineyard.
For what it's worth, cab service is excellent. Not cheap, but the best way if you have a drink or two.
