The Slack Key Show takes place on Wednesday nights at 7:30 p.M. With master slack-key guitarist George Kahumoku Jr. As host and Peter deAquino as co-host. Each week we feature renowned slack-key guitarists and other Hawaiian musicians (sometimes ukulele, falsetto, or steel guitarists) to share traditional Hawaiian Music with you. Mahalo and hope we will see you at the show!

The Slack Key show at Napili Kai is one of the best things on the island. You truly get the masters of Slack Key Guitar at the show. The show itself feels more like a gathering at a friend's house than anything. The performers are...More

As others have said, real Hawaiian music and singing. My wife grew up on Maui and this is as authentic an event of native singing and music as you can find now. Most of these guys are up in years and this music is slowly...More

Wanted to hear some "real" Hawaiian music on our trip to Hawaii. Found this in a guide book. It proved to be a good choice. Located way up the west coast, the weekly Wednesday show is in a pavillion with open sides with comfortable enough...More

The show on Wednesday nights in Napili is well worth the cost for tickets. Two portions of the show - the first half is ok, but not more than one might expect as restaurant entertainment. The second half really is what you come for -...More

This was our first slack key and it was wonderful. Totally love being included in George's family and friends and listening to them jamming together! The night featured Nathan Aweau, whose bass guitar playing was out of this world. We also enjoyed watching and listening...More

We called ahead to reserve a seat. Tickets were available at the door. We went early after dinner & sat on the front row. This was a fantastic night. Don't miss it, whatever you have to do. Just go. Incredible show.

I called the show and paid for the tickets over the phone. I think you can purchase online and you can also buy them just before the show. It was not full.
