About
Maui Dragon Fruit Farm is a USDA certified organic farm located in West Maui about five minutes from Lahaina. The main crop at this gorgeous farm is dragon fruit and the main dragon fruit season is July thru November. But they also grow bananas, papayas, pineapples, sugarcane, tropical flowers and more. The grounds and views are spectacular and are available for private events and wedding. Maui Dragon Fruit Farm is open to the public and run tours daily. Their guided walking farm tours are a wonderful way to learn about dragon fruit and the other tropical plants they grow and gain insights on organic farming and sustainability on Maui. If you are looking for something new and exciting, Paradise Eco-Adventures runs daily adventure tours at the Maui Dragon Fruit Farm. These tours include zip lining, rolling in the aquaball and an integrated farm tour. Since zipline and aquaball activity participants only need to be five years old and weigh less than 250 pounds to do our super fun activities, these adventure tours are great for families traveling with younger kids.

We came here for the zipline and the Aquaball and the tour was an added bonus. We got some great information about the farm and had a wonderful photo opportunity overlooking the ocean below. The zipline is small but since none of us had ever done it before, I figured it was the perfect "starter" zipline and it was. My 13 year old son, my wife and I all did it and really enjoyed it (my 10 year old was still too scared to try it). Then my two sons did the Aquaball and they absolutely had a blast! They rode in it together but also separately and enjoyed it each time. If you go to the farm and it is a warm day, then you really need to include the Aquaball in your plans. They have a great Zipline/Aquaball combo deal so take advantage of it. It very likely will be the highlight of the trip for your children.

Amazing experience from the customer service to the tour guide and The sweet fruit. I called the number to reserve for a party of 14 at 10:30pm and was amazed that we were able to get a tour the next day. My family and I enjoyed all the knowledge that was shared with us in the tour By our guide Pam. She was so layed back and pleasant to hang around with. At the end of the tour we got to sample the delicious fruit they had for us. Pam really came through for our family of 14 she really made us feel welcomed and accommodated us as a large group. At the end we also had a chance buy
the dragon fruit lemonade, which was a very refreshing after a hot day. Thank you from the Monge Family

Highly recommend this place to visit! My husband, 2 kids(19 & 15) and I did the zipline and fruit tour. It was such a fun time! The tour guide(forgot her name :( She's from southern cali) did an amazing job going into great detail about all the fruits they grow on the farm, the life cycle, etc... We got to sample a few of the fruits they were growing on the farm-delicious!! I couldnt believe she had only been working there 2 months. Very impressed! Our kids did the 4 rope zipline and loved it! Such an amazing view!

We paid $125 for a lame tour and $10 of fruit at the end of the tour. Exotic oranges, pineapple, papaya, rambutan. There was very little fruit grown at the "farm". It was bought from local growers, of course no dragonfruit.
I wouldn't consider this a farm, it's a money making scam.

We were a family group with ages 7, 9, 30’s, and 60. The farm is uphill from Lahaina and easy to find. There were beautiful panoramic overviews of the channel with boats and whale. We did it all: farm tour, zipline, and Aquaball. All were very interesting and fun. The zipline and aquaball were well staffed and well run/safe by a young and energetic team. My grandchildren enjoyed the aquaball the most; a plastic quilted giant ball with 3 buckets of water added before the person enters and then rolls down a prepared path. The slippery inside of the ball makes for a wild ride down the hill full of screams and laughter.
We received a bag of their organic fruits at the end of our tour to take home and enjoy. I would highly recommend this for family groups.

My 6 year old son counted the zip line as one of the favorite experiences from our trip— this was great as it was on the smaller / shorter side and was easy if some members of the group do not want to participate. The farm itself is not some large scale producer but gives you a look and some info about many plants and has beautiful views. Very accessible to the Kaanapali area. Would probably recommend most to combine farm tour with zip line or water ball to get the most out of the trip. At the end we enjoyed the fruit samples and coconut water / dragonfruit lemonade.

Not much to see there. Don’t waste your money and time. Not the growing season for anything. All the plant we see and learn are all over the island anyway. It’s dragon fruit farm and we didn’t even get to try it. Didn’t learn anything at all! $25 per person was a ripoff and not worth it.

We had a large group with 4 adults and 8 kids under 13. Our tour guides Sammi and Lucy were sooo incredibly patient with us, accommodating our needs and so knowledgable. Some of the kids (and adults=) were nervous about the zip line and they helped and encouraged us all to take the plunge. This zip line and farm tour is a MUST DO for families with younger children!!!! It was also affordable compared to a lot of other zip line companies.

We had such a great tour here! We also did the zip lining and aquaball - zip lining was really great for my 6 year old although probably not for the most daring individuals but perfect for families with younger kids. All the people working there were super friendly, they provided sunscreen and sanitizer free of charge and gave a really great walking tour of the farm before the other activities. At the end we got a huge plate of different fruits to try which were very tasty. Overall was a great experience, would definitely recommend to others with small children!

We got there and the views were stunning. We had Crystal as our guide and as she is one of the owners who started the farm, it was extremely informative and so personal. We got to taste delicious fruit and coconut water and she let someone in our group harvest the pineapple that we then cut fresh. It was a wonderful experience all around and I would highly recommend!

Can you purchase fruit here?
Maui D
Lahaina, HI4 contributions
Yes, you can purchase fruit at our gazebo when we have it. In season(July to November), we have dragon fruit for sale and off season we have strawberry papaya for sale. In June we have pineapple for sale but they go very fast.
Do you still have to pay the 15 dollars if the child is under 5?
Maui D
Lahaina, HI4 contributions
No, you do not need to pay for children under five. Children under five are free and can do the guided farm tour or walk along on one of our adventure tours. Our adventure tour activities, zipline and aquaball, require participants to be five or older. Thank you for your question.
