We snorkels off this beach several days while we stayed nearby. From the Northern edge of the Westin property where the threes almost meet the ocean we found the reef teeming with turtles. Every time we went in we encountered at least one of these jumbo creatures feeding off the reef in less than 10' of water and very close... More

If you're staying in Kaanapali like we do, if you want to get away and feel like you're alone, just take the kaanapali beach walk past the Sheraton to Kahekilli, It's so expansive, and if you go past the Maui Eldorado Beach shack and throw down a towel, you will feel alone and can hear nothing but the surf. Aloha,

Might be located next to a big hotel but the area itself has plenty of room to spread out on the grass or the sand, however wasn't that busy today when we were there. Lots of snorkels and divers. My brother snorkeled right off the beach and saw lots of fish. Loved the parking lot (free) and inside flush toilets... More

This was the beach we chose to laze about on. Plenty of space and shade. Bathrooms not too far away. You would have to bring you own chairs and umbrella, but we loved it.

Easy, relaxing, comfortable, and beautiful. What more could you want? This beach has a convenient (but small) parking lot which leads to the grassy park with a covered pavilion, restrooms, and showers. The grass is soft enough to walk barefoot and then just a few steps away is the soft sand. We picked up lunch and ate it on one... More

Just a short walk north of Black Rock in Kaanapali Beach. Plentiful parking but does fill fast on weekends. Public rest rooms on location. Went there twice on our recent stay. Has an abundance of coral reefs for snorkeling as well as popular for beginning scuba lessons. Short walks will provide shady areas if they are not already taken.

We really enjoyed snorkeling here. There is plenty of free parking and the beach is only a short walk away. There is lots of coral and we saw plenty of fish and two to three sea turtles along the bottom that kept swimming up to say hi! It was so neat to swim with sea turtles. Definitely worth checking out.

Nice, long stretch of sand, with gorgeous views. the drop off in the water is rather sudden and deep, but the waves were gentle, this day, at least.

This is a beautiful state park beach with free parking and a short walk to the beach itself. It sits on the beachwalk on North Kaanapali. There are trees along the back of the beach which provide great shade. The snorkeling is very good here. We saw very large starfish here. Great beach for all but especially for families which... Once you find the parking lot, it is only a 100yards to a fantastic beach. My wife an I spent a few hours hang out and snorkeling. Coral is about 100ft off the shore line and not very deep until you get out a few hundred yards out. We saw plenty of sea life and even a couple of turtles.... More
