Spent our last full day in Maui at Kahekili Beach Park. The bathroom facilities are kept clean and in good condition. There are also fresh water showers and public parking (with some shade). It's a bit of a haul from the public parking down to...More

Amazing beach that has virtually everything to offer. You can walk it end to end from the Sheraton at Black Rock on the South end to just past Duke's and Honua Kai on the North end. There are always two other islands in view, Lanai...More

We were staying at the Westin Ocean resort villas next door to this park, so we were here often during our stay. The beach is clean and has a nice boardwalk across the beach. There is an outside shower to wash off the sand after...More

Great beach with easy public access and great snorkeling. For the best snorkeling, walk north about 1000 feet from the pavilion, then head out about 200 feet into the water and let the current push you down the reef. Very easy snorkel.

Kahekili Beach is fairly quiet for a beach on Maui, it is also home to a very wide array of tropical fish if you are a sea-body like myself. It’s a very relaxing place to unwind.

Waves arent huge so would be a good beach for kids and there is some pretty good shallow snorkeling with lots of fish at only a few feet of depth and tons of coral when it gets 10-15 foot deep, as nice as a lot...More

The beach park itself is nice if you want to go have some relaxing time. However, we went to snorkel and this did not go well. The beach drops off sharply before the edge of the water. The sand is not compacted even near the...More

We have snorkeled on most of the Maui beaches and Kahekili is among the best of those that are easily accessible. The coral reef is very large and healthy. Nice grass area by the beach.

There's no issue. Turn towards the beach on Kai Ala Drive, and the park is at the end of the road. There are 2 resort entrances off the side which may be what Google is referring to.

Yes, I'm fairly certain SUPs can be rented from the activity hut in front of the Maui Kaanapali Villas just south of the park.
