Spacious and wonderful

This beach is actually the best of the Lahaina area. Sea turtles, relatively calm water and plenty of space to everybody...

This beach was nice for the kids, some coral right near the water's edge so they could see some fish swimming around with only their goggles on. Nice soft sand as well.

We visited four beaches in Maui this trip, and had visited two others in previous years. Out of all the beaches in Maui, this is the beach to visit. If you are looking to snorkel, you will find enough fish to keep you occupied for a long time. If you are looking just to enjoy a nice time in the... More

As a novice snorkeler, I absolutely love this beach. It is so easy to get in and out of the water. Plus as soon as you put your head in the water there's fish to see. Amazing. On our recent trip to Maui we spent almost every morning at this beach. The bathroom and shower facilities are nice. There is... More

Family had a great time. Saw fish as son as they entered the water! It had a nice sandy beach and a grassy area with bathrooms.

We spent many of our vacation days beach-hopping north and south along the west coast. Many of those days we ended up back at Kahekili Beach for a swim and a snooze in the shade. Awesome spot.

We've been to Maui and the Kaanapali area numerous times over many years. This latest time was the first time we've been to this beach and we were genuinely more impressed than we thought we would be. It's a very nice beach with nice sand, good size, good swimming, great location, and very good snorkeling. It also has it's own... More

Kahekili Beach is just north of the main Kanapali beach area (north of the black rock). It less crowded and quieter than Kanapali beach and has great snorkeling.

Snorkeling is good, lots of fish out from the beach, where there is a lot of coral. At least one large turtle. This is a nice location, with much parking, rest rooms, and showers. Our favorite beach when water is calm.

Great looking beach, supposed great snorkling, hotel management and locals warned us to stay out of water due to some kind of water treatment issue associated with runoff into this part of shore. Checked online to find EPA is involved.... Real shame, hope they get it resolved for our next visit.
