We're the "Best Place to Find Yourself on Horseback" according to Hawaii Magazine's 2008 "Best of Hawaii" - and they should know! Ride our beautiful horses through lush, exotic valleys, ironwood forests, and pineapple fields, while enjoying spectacular panoramic views of the outer islands! Nestled in the midst of unspoiled mountains, rain forests and farmland, Ironwood Ranch sits on acres of private land inaccessible to most, but ready and waiting for you to explore!

We had a great ride and learned about the history of the island from our guide. We saw some stunning views. My husband had never been riding before and he enjoyed it. We also left with some free citrus from their trees.

Horse back riding at the Ironwood ranch in Maui is a trail that weaves through 1500 acres of fallow land. Full of the ironwood pines the trail is interesting and treacherous because of rain which makes the hill side slippery. Our guide was knowledgeable and...More

My equestrian daughter did not want to ride here because of how they cared for the horses - try Lahaina Stables instead!

There are only a few places to ride horses on Maui and I would say this is the best and most convenient to get to. The horses are all named after celebs (Charlize Theron, George Clooney) because I think they don't really know what their...More

We own a horse farm at home yet still go on these guided tours to see parts of land difficult to see on foot and hear the history and wildlife facts. Most of the time the horses are old and sluggish...stubborn but safe. Usually a...More

If your husband's weight is close to the max limit (220lbs I believe), they will weigh him when you arrive. Their priority is the safety of the horses.
