Overview
More
Experience the rare opportunity to travel and see an entirely new Hawaiian island, Lanai. Lanai is the Pineapple Island, and is home to incredible snorkel destinations and sea life. Passengers commonly see spinner dolphins, which jump and spin in the air! Lanai has a resident pod of over 100 spinner dolphins. Lanai snorkeling destinations are beneath towering cliffs that climb to over 300 feet high! The photo opportunities are unbeatable. You will be one of the few people in the world to snorkel locations like Shark Fin Rock and Manele Bay, each with up to 100 feet of visibility, and located in remote areas of Lanai. Your trip begins in the famous Lahaina Harbor and boards conveniently from Pier One, across from the Pioneer Inn. Start the day off right with a breakfast of eggs, ham, cinnamon rolls, donuts, coffee, fruit and juice, backed by Hawaiian music. A comfortable ride, a professional captain and crew, and the chance to learn about this slice of Hawaii are just a few of the reasons this tour makes for an ideal day out on the waters of Lanai. The boating experience to the Lanai snorkeling destination is like none other aboard the famous Quicksilver, and the journey is a great opportunity to relax, listen to music, and observe Maui, Lanai, Molokai and Kaho’olawe — each an independent Hawaiian island. Once you arrive at the first destination on the Lanai coastline, use the snorkeling equipment provided to explore the underwater world, and take advantage of the water slide for more fun, especially to entertain kids. A crew member is in the water at all times watching over the snorkelers and lending any assistance, if needed. You can also take a peek at the reef without getting in the water via the glass-bottom viewing area. Breakfast, lunch, snacks, soda, and juice are all included on this Lanai snorkeling tour! Some of the amenities on Quicksilver include a water slide, a shady upper deck, two freshwater showers, glass-bottom viewing windows, quality snorkeling gear, flotation devices, two restrooms and plenty of Jimmy Buffet music. You may rent a wetsuit or underwater digital camera at your own expense. On the way back, enjoy a spectacular view of the West Maui Mountains and coastline while enjoying an adult beverage and Quicksilver Crew Trivia. This a truly special trip that very few get to experience.

Aloha, Molokini is rated as one of the best snorkeling spots on Maui because of the wildlife and the visibility as well as the coral reef. We DO sell reef safe sunscreen on board. However we do run out from time to time. We are...More

The excursion was great thanks to the unexpected experience of getting to swim with dolphins, a clean/safe boat, and wonderful crew. They were all friendly and helpful, especially Jason, who led the "snuba" experience. My eight-year old was anxious and scared, as were a few...More

It was awesome. Once we were able to board, the fun was immediate. The views, quality of the crew, and the super cool captain made the whole day rad. The actual snorkeling was killer, man! I'm going again, for sure.

Google indicates 43 minutes between the Westin Maui and Maalea Harbor. Hope that helps and we hope to see you out on the water! Mahalo!
