Get a new perspective on life under the sea with this adventure, which includes a clear kayak ride and a snorkeling trip. You'll head out to Makena Landing Park in Wailea, where you'll get to spot all sorts of local life, including coral and fish; if you're lucky, you might even see a sea turtle.

A terrific way to enjoy hand made goods and the freshest locally grown produce. Fresh air, friendly people, and some special treats prepared by very talented island residents. Put this on your to do list, experience a bit of local flair.

We’re staying at a nearby resort and saw a sign advertising this farmer’s market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. We love farmer’s markets and decided to give it a try. When we first pulled up we thought that maybe we shouldn’t go because it was so small, but we are certainly glad that we did. We left with hand roasted coffee, dulce de Leche sauce, and Jackfruit and strawberry jam from the sparkling chef with Maui Farmed Eatery. My husband and son purchased some uncle Milly’s hot sauce that Will really complement the egg in a frame that we are making for breakfast tomorrow morning. We will also use the three varieties of sourdough bread and a giant fresh avocado to make the ultimate breakfast treat. Lastly we found two beautiful necklace pieces that are super unique and all Maui.

There are very few offerings. Are there no small farms in the vicinity or even on Maui? The vegetables were the same as you could find at the regular market. There was ONE table of jams. There were several tables of jewelry and knick knacks. But as for food, we went home with a few carrots and an onion.

This is a surprisingly tiny, free farmer's market - at least when we stopped by on a Saturday. Only 1 fruit stand, a few jewelry stands, a hot sauce stand, a bakery, a jam/jelly stand, and a few others. Live music was playing. I loved how the stands encourage you to sample their products, and they were very tasty. We bought some vegan banana bread, coconut muffins, hot sauce, and pineapple jam. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Nothing wrong with small sized farmer's markets, I was just surprised that it wasn't bigger since it's such a touristy area and could really bring in some business for locals. Maybe it will expand in the future. Check out the Steamboat Farmer's Market in Steamboat Springs, Colorado for an example of a thriving local summer market.

Great, little market with a basic selection of fresh organic fruits and vegetables. Enjoy some delicious fruits and vegetables for breakfast and lunch at our hotel and snack during our hikes.
