At Wailele Polynesian Luau dinner show, guests will embark on an exciting journey to the Polynesian Islands where dance was considered not just as a form of entertainment, but as a means of telling stories. Recognized for providing an award-winning experience, the luau is held oceanfront at The Westin Maui Resort & Spa and features dances and songs from old and modern Hawaii, Tahiti, Fiji, New Zealand (Maori), Tonga and Samoa. Highlights include the story of Pele (Goddess of Fire), Hi'ilave Hula Awana dedicated to Wailele (meaning waterfalls) and Maui's most extreme fire knife dance finale called "Siva Afi". The unforgettable evening of fun, culture and entertainment is complemented by a traditional dinner served buffer style and selection of beverages.

Again, we had a Travelzoo voucher, so paid $200.00 for 4 tickets when regular price was $110.00 per adult ticket. It was 2 hotels down from the Marriott, so walked over to the Westin. The entrance queue moved quickly, which was a pleasant surprise! Mai tai's & other drinks were offered before you were taken to the table, a nice... More

I booked this Luau for my wife and I using a Travelzoo special for $99 for two people. Given the price, I rated this four stars. If I had paid full price, I would have rated it lower. The drinks were decent, and the food was good quality served buffet style. The entertainment was a little cheesy but entertaining nonetheless.... More

We attended this luau in May 2012 at the advice of our Concierge from the Ka anapali Resort (Hi Mike!). We were not disappointed! While the food could have been just a tad better, our server, Pat was great! We loved her! There were 3 other couples at our table and we had a blast! The show was enjoyable from... More

We've been to a few luaus before, and this was probably the best of them. They don't show you the whole "here's how we bury a whole pig" show, but the food was a step above what we've had at other shows. The pig was excellent, the chicken was good, and the fish entree (ginger fish) was actually fresh tasting.... More

We attended the Luau on May 14th. We payed the extra few $$$ for the premium seats. This only gets you closer to the stage. If your looking for details, then do it, otherwise no big deal. The entertainment and food was amazing, especially the end with the fire dancers. However, the overall price we paid was a little steep,... More

We loved this luau! The comedian who started the show was so much fun! The dancers were excellent and the fire-dancers were totally amazing! The food was wonderful and the service excellent. We have been to the bigger, fancier Lahaina luau attended by hundreds of people, but really this smaller one was just perfect for us! We also enjoyed the... More

We attended the luau on April 23rd. We chose this luau for the fire knife dance as our family had our 6 year old nephew with us and we thought he would really enjoy that. He loved it! We walked over from the Ka'anapali Beach Hotel where we were staying. The food was good - we were aware there would... More

My wife and I attended this luau on April 11 and was quite impressed with the variety of the show and the quality of entertainment. The fire dancers of course were the main attraction, but the dancing and colorful outfits were also a highlite. There was something for everyone. The food was quite good. I would recommend getting premium tickets... More

We've been to Hawaii around ten times and go to a luau each time we are with someone who is on their first visit to the islands. This was our fifth luau (third on Maui) and was definitely the best we've seen. We purchased premium seating which comes with perks such as first in buffet line and seating close to... More

The reason we chose this Luau was because it is one of the few with fire dancers, which is precisely what my boys, 7&10, wanted to see. The show itself was quite entertaining. The kids really enjoyed it. The buffet was average to good. The disappointing part is that there was no actual luau with beach activities or pig ceremony.... More
