Pull in with easy parking except busy for events and holidays. Right off the main road.
You will find locally grown veggies, drinking vinegar (spicy!), nice eggs, fruits as well as locally made jams etc.
You’ll also find candles and jewelry and next door plants. Can pick your own berries. Coffee cart next door I’d rate as ok (prefer Cuban cart down the road).

The Pumpkin Patch is a favorite family activity on Maui every October, just before Halloween. There are a few activities for the kids, but the main attraction is picking your own pumpkin for the holiday.

Absolutely delicious pineapples! Friendly gal working the cash register for years! Great, great strawberries, though non organic. Play area for kids too! They even have a mounted saddle so you can see what getting on a horse would be like! Fun for us city folk.

We have visited this farm for several years and enjoyed our experiences. Purchased several fruits and vegetables along with picking out our seasonal pumpkins. This past Sunday were chose to stop there but were surprised they were closed. We checked their website and found they were closed on Sundays but opened daily until 5pm. This Wednesday we decided to stop by after I finished work then have a nice dinner at the Kula Bristol. Drive up from Kihei in backed up traffic due to construction in Kahului. Finally arrived at the farm at 4:30 only to meet a guy at the gate. He said they were closed because it was slow. There were two other groups of people who also arrived only to be turned away. One guy even told me their website said they closed at 5.

Never again will we visit or support this business again. Maybe they should realize people don't frequent the farm according to their schedule but to their posted business hours.

As a tour stop, this place is a little confused. There are advertisements for kid's activities and kid-type decorations but there is also a lot of "No touching" and places where they (or adults) are not welcome. Seems like they want the children to be seen but not heard...hard to have it both ways.

Other confusions, they would like you to stay and participate but no restrooms or other facilities. They say this is out of respect for the land, which it probably is, but the length of stay is somewhat limited.

There is food, but mostly produce and packaged goods. The produce is beautiful (we got a delicious avocado the size of a small football) and some of it is from the farm. There is a selection of jams, honeys, and some baked goods. Some handicrafts.

I don't know if they change anything for their larger events (like the pumpkin patch) but overall I would say that this is a nice stop if you are in the area to stretch your legs, get out of the car, and take some pictures. Maybe pick up some snack and souvenirs. But probably not worth it as it's own destination.

Quick stop on our up-country adventure. Terrific views. A little store with jams, gifts and pick-your-own strawberry baskets to take out to the garden.

They have many wooden stands were young children can put their faces through holes and have photos taken. So many photo ops here...

Definitely stop and enjoy!

We went on a Saturday in October and it was a good activity for young kids. Besides buying pumpkins and other farm stand things, there were food vendors, a bouncy castle, simple activities like swings, a couple of animals, and a small corn maze. It was just like the family-run tourist farms where we are from, only with a spectacular island view. The bouncy castle was expensive, and the food service was quite slow and inaccurate from more than one vendor (but the food itself was pretty good). We did get a few bug bites. Definitely go on the weekend though - we had friends who went on a weekday and said there was nothing going on.

I love that they do the Pumpkin patch every year. I was worried when I moved to Maui that I would be missing out on some winter traditions but Kula Country Farms kept those traditions alive for me. I thank them for all that they do for the island and the people who live here. Also, they're produce is amazing!

This seems to be the go-to spot for pumpkins in Maui. There is a large patch of maybe 2 acres with all sizes and varieties of pumpkin. Stands with food and crafts are there too. A corn maze completes the spectacle. Most amusing part is the people dressed in long pants and flannels like it is autumn, when it is the typical 80 degree Maui day.
